Well our vet trip went as expected....she indeed has an upper respiratory infection. The vet says he lungs sound fine, but to keep an eye on her cough.
She even fluorescene stained her eyes in fear that she had a corneal abrasion....that's how swollen her one eye is.
So we came home, took a nap and I went for a shower, and locked her in the bathroom with me to try and steam her nose so she could breathe. She was fine until she couldn't see me through the shower curtain and started crying. So I finished up and sat with her with the shower still going for 10 minutes.
She sleep a lot, but I would topic I was sick so I try to wake her up to eat and play a little every once and a while. She woke right up when I was eating my chicken for supper and proceeded to steal a piece of it. I wound up standing to eat the rest of my meal.
So she's on doxy for another 2 weeks, as well as tetracycline ointment for her eyes...which she seems to hate even more than the erythromycin.
