R.I.P Oliver the rat :(

Hi everyone..

Today we lost our 6 year old rat Oliver He was awesome and loved to cuddle and give kisses. I'm guessing he died from old age considering the average rat life span is 2 years. We just buried him at my dads along with other family animals.

Oh, I am sorry to hear about your little Oliver. Wow, I guess that is old if the average age is usually 2! It is amazing how animals no matter how big or how small become part of our lives and our hearts. RIP Oliver.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My friend lost her elderly rat a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure he was waiting to greet Oliver on the other side of the rainbow bridge! It sounds like he had an exceptionally long and wonderful life with you.

I am so sorry. I loved my little girl rattie, Mazey, so much. It broke my heart when she passed from cancer after about a year and a half. No more ratties for me....they are so sweet, but I can't take losing them so quickly. 6 years old is a really long life. Rest in peace sweet Oliver. Snuggle and give kisses to Mazey if you see her and tell her that her mama loves her still. I hope the angels have a great big wheel for you to run on, lots of friends to play with, and all the treats you love. You carry with you the love of your family--you were loved--and that is everything.
