Rehoming my handsome Onyx - Centereach, New York

Unfortunately I need to rehome my handsome Sphynx Onyx. I will be getting married and moving to North Carolina. My fiancé has a six year old Labradoodle who is a bundle of energy and chases Onyx constantly. The result is Onyx hiding most of the time. I want Onyx to feel safe and enjoy his life to its fullest.

Onyx is a 5 year old neutered Blue Mink Seal Point Sphynx born 06/08/20. He is healthy and up to date on all shots, vet records are available. He is an indoor cat, however I do take him out for short supervised periods of time. Onyx has never interacted with other cats. As with all Sphynx’s, he requires regular skin, ears and nails care. I do not bathe Onyx, however I clean his skin with a warm wet washcloth monthly, his ears daily and nails as needed. Onyx has never experienced any skin issues. He does not like to wear sweaters or any type of clothing. Onyx loves to be covered with blankets while sleeping. He definitely enjoys attention and loves to play! Onyx is featured in the 2025 Paws calendar for the month of September!


I am looking for a loving home with someone is knowledgeable about his breed. I am currently located in Centereach, New York. Fee $100

@BevMun , welcome and hugs for your heartfelt decision. awh, Onyx is adorable, love his calendar photo. you are in the purrfect family to find a forever home for handsome Onyx. several of us have adopted from members. I have all adoptees and always try to help hearts align. I used to live on Long Island, miss it. hugs n head smooches. members will surely interview for the purrfect fit. keep us updated often.
