RIP Eddie

This morning I got up to find my old cavalier doggie Eddie collapsed on the floor unable to get up. I rushed him to the vets and they said the kindest thing was to put him to sleep. I feel broken. He was blind, deaf, rotten teeth but a heart murmur so couldn't be anaesthetised for removal and had a bad back. He had become incontinent at times so we knew he had limited time left. It still hurts like lead. I know the sphynxies will miss him madly as will our other cavalier Gracie. RIP Eddie

So sorry to hear this. Its so hard when we lose our pets - our friends and companions. RIP Eddie.

Thankyou everyone. Gracie (my other old cavalier) is sad today. I hope she feels better soon. Binx had a strange moment today for about an hour. He was acting freaked out, pupils massive and drooling. He does this every now and then ever since he was first ever sick. He stands still and acts frightened. I wonder if it's some kind of epilepsy - the vet thinks it's just that he has a nervous issue when something sets him off. I think he is missing Eddie today and is on edge poor fellow
