RIP my little Gunny

I was going to keep this as a suprise until i visited the breeder Saturday to announce my new baby.

Me and my boyfriend was going to get a little sphynx kitten. A boy to complete our family.
I did mention about naming one Gunny. Well i have been emailing the breeder for 2 weeks and he was reserved for me and we were visiting Saturday.

The breeder emailed me today saying he wasnt eating well so they took him to the vet. The vet found out he had a heart problem and said it would only get worse so he told my breeder it would be best to put him to sleep. The breeder agreed and he went peacefully in her lap

Our poor Gunny was 4 weeks old.
Me and my boyfriend hugged and cried and vowed we will keep looking. Even though we only saw a few pictures we fell in love with him and was looking forward to sharing him and posting photo's on the lair.

Even though you didnt meet him and hear of him i wanted to post a little loving memory post of the little soul who stole my heart.

Oh no ;( I'm so sorry. One of my best friends had a miscarriage last year and I told her "everything happens for a reason. Your next baby will be twice as special and have twice as much love to give you"
Gunny knows you love him and he will send you the perfect baby that will give you so much love, love from gunny and the new baby.

I'm really sorry to hear that That's terrible. It's so hard when a kitten dies because they didnt get to spend that much time on earth. On the positive side, he wont suffer when he gets older so your breeder did the right thing. I'm sending thoughts your way, and he was a very cute baby. <3's

I'm so sorry Anna. I can understand how it must feel to be excited to share your news with us and then have it turn sad. He sure was a cute little guy.

I can only hope that even though he would have had a wonderful life with you, that someone had bigger plans for him and took him there early.

Thanks guys - After sobbing most of the evening and getting cuddles from my fuzzballs i do feel slightly better. I lit a candle for him (Though it wasn't lit for long because Caru cant help but try to hit the flame )
In a way that may seem odd to people but i am glad i didnt get the chance to meet him yet otherwise i would be very very heartbroken what with watching him grow up lots of pictures and then being taken away . I just hope the rest of the litter doesn't have heart problems too, she did say the parents were HCM tested though.

I am more determined to get a boy - In memory of him

I'm so sorry, Nefertari! I received a similar e-mail while I was waiting for my little ones. At 7 weeks, my kitty's sister couldn't recover from illness, and she passed. I know that the breeders did everything they could.

Aw no Anna. I'm tearing up here. He looked like such a cutie that you would never want to leave. I hope you're all okay and I'm so grateful your girls were there to comfort you. I know that not meeting him is definitely better. Your heart would've been shattered had you made more memories with him. Its so unfair but i guess you will have some extra love to give when you find your boy in his memory. RIP Gunny.x
