some kitties do get stress uri's when rehomed.
I will share we have had members whose vets/techs went too deep ear cleaning... so I do mine at home wetting trizultra w/keto on a cotton swissper pad and gently wiping out ears and wetting some brand name qtips to gentle clean ears. I wear a little head lamp to help me see better when doing ears n nails. my vet got me hooked on trizultra to wipe out ears. never an ear issue again. I actually have not needed to use as a flush. I just squeeze the wetted cotton round a little.
