ok so I bought this D'greaser for our Cats.
Today finally Hairy got a Bath ! And OMG is he WHITE ! We put the gelly stuff on him and just rubbed it a bit and my goddness so much dirt came right off.
I seriously had to wash the Tub after scrubbing with some cleaner to get the Grease all off. Never had to do that ! This stuff is really nice and a nice colour !

Here are some "clean" pictures , in one he was yawning - saying "looooooooooooook"

I think that is the stuff that Sarah uses on Starla and Bentley. It is next on my list of shampoos to try.

I remember Sarah swearing by something too. I was waiting to see if anyone else had the same results. Is that the real name of it and where did you buy it?

I looked this product up on Amazon. Brand name is PurePet. Its for dogs & cats and says its used by wildlife rescue services. 2 customers both gave it a 5 star rating. They carry 16 oz size for $14.29 or 40 oz. for $32.99. free shipping on the latter. The container states its non toxic & non drying. Ebay also carries it, but the shipping costs are rather outrageous.

I wonder what the scent is?

Keep us updated on how clean he STAYS! Not that I cant wipe down between baths (as we all pretty much do already), but it'd be nice for a cleaner kitten longer!

Just ordered the 40oz! I like that I can use it on cats & dogs too. I know I'll use it all up in our household.

I SWEAR by this stuff! Its D'Grease by Pure Pet. I LOVE IT! Bentley's breeder recommended it to me. It IS expensive but it most certainly works. I use a little on them for their first scrub, rinse & then I follow up with baby shampoo for yummy smell & to wash ears/face area, I don't think the D'Grease is tear free so I don't go near the face!
In my opinion, they STAY cleaner longer also.
To me, the D'Grease smells like car wash soap. Its like a thick blue paste but it loosens up when you mix water into it. I love it. Definitely works for us, glad it worked for you too!

I use exfoliating gloves also & I really find that this stuff gets it done! I don't use any coconut oil anymore to loosen the dirt. This stuff does the trick for us. I feel like I should sell it now LOL.

Glad to know this. I've been really frustrated with the coconut oil. She seems to get dirty fast after using it, no matter how diligent I am in getting it off. My shipment for the shampoo comes Friday, so I cant wait!

I will have to try it! I ordered this shampoo recommended the Hylyt shampoo and it seemed to make Akasha rash out! I don't know for sure if it was the shampoo.

Akasha gets dirty FAST because she likes to sleep on the futon in the garage or under the couches and I can never seem to keep those areas clean enough!

I can't get the D'grease in Canada. If anyone knows of a source please let me know. Tried amazon.com but they won't let me order it and .ca doesn't have it.

Sarah sent me the Amazon link and I just bought it last night. Can't wait to see how it works.

I just ordered it. I gave Frank a bath on Monday night, when we were at the vet Wed night he was hot, I was hot (vet office was very hot) and I was wearing a white tee shirt. Well it started out white, the whole front of my shirt was brown. I thought he was clean, can't wait for it to get here

I would love to try this stuff. My black and white sphynx is always a little grubby looking even after a good thorough wash. Do you know if this is shipped to the UK?

Ok, got my D'Greaser on Friday. I bathed Clementine Saturday morning, and just finished a bath with our great dane Daisy. I am loving this stuff. Clem looked so much brighter. It really helped bring out some of the whiter areas in her calico coat. I was able to leave it on for a couple minutes in between her toes, then scrub off the grime. Nothing is 100% (there was still a smidge or 2 of grease in between the toes) but its done the best job yet on loosening up grub & getting most off.
Now with Daisy - she has such a shiny clean coat! I am really impressed. As an added bonus, a little goes a LONG way. SO yes its pricey, but I think it will last a long time.
My biggest complaint is there is no smell with it. You can smell the soap itself, but after its all washed away, there's no lingering pleasant scent. I might look at mixing in an essential oil (like lavender or something) and see how that works out.
But most important - it REALLY CLEANS. Very cool. It's not over-drying either!
