I only use baby wash neck up, not because either of mine had a bad reaction, but because I was afraid it wasn't tear free... that's terrible though! Is it possible that he already had a scratch or bite that it went into?

I used the Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash on all three boys after I rinsed off the D'Greaser.

I don't know if you read my thread not too long ago about that the baby wash isn't exactly tear-free or not? I used it once to remove eye make-up and my eyes burned terribly! I'm always very careful anyway not to use the baby wash or any shampoo, etc. on their eye area. Of course, they move around in their bath, so anything is bound to happen with something getting in their eyes, nose, mouth or ears. But I am as careful as can be. I use two different wash clothes and a glove (not exactly an exfoliating glove, but it's for bathing/showers).

The way that Grayson is peeling and it scabbed over and dried..scabbed skin is hanging off his chin (and his entire chin is swollen)...there isn't any way possible it started with a scratch, etc.

The antibiotic ointment is definitely helping him and I don't think he's quite as uncomfortable as yesterday, but my heart is aching for him. He's such a goooooood boy and to see him hurting over nonsense is disturbing.

The only reason why I used the D'Greaser on their chins to begin with was because Liam is greasy and he's had a blackhead and a pimple prior to this week. Simon has a lot of white on his neck and chest area and it looks blackish before bathtime.

I've never been able to use any type of baby wipes on Liam especially and on Grayson too. I've never and won't bother ever trying to use it on Simon. They just have very sensitive skin in certain areas.

I was just going to post the same info. As a matter of fact, I called the company and ordered the D'Greaser and something else directly. They were very nice and helpful too.

ok so I bought this D'greaser for our Cats.
Today finally Hairy got a Bath ! And OMG is he WHITE ! We put the gelly stuff on him and just rubbed it a bit and my goddness so much dirt came right off.
I seriously had to wash the Tub after scrubbing with some cleaner to get the Grease all off. Never had to do that ! This stuff is really nice and a nice colour !

So I ordered this off of e-bay! I just got it in the mail yesterday and when I opened it, it was the consistency of regular human shampoo. Is this what it's supposed to be like? For some reason I had it in my head that it would be thick like coconut oil lol. It says on the container that when warm it thickens - what?!

Yes when I got mine it was very thick...then loosened like regular shampoo, so heat does make a difference I guess.

When I got mine delivered, we were having another heat wave, so the shampoo was pure liquid. It took quite a few days to thicken up in my house to become a gel/paste.

PurePet D'Greaser Shampoo is a soft paste when cool. When it warms, it becomes a thick blue liquid.

I totally misunderstood what the jar said. Makes a lot of sense. For some reason I thought that when it's warm, it becomes thick. Not sure what was going through my head lol. Thanks for clarifying.
