Should I wait ???

Hello everyone , the ladies that know me know I want a little brother for Cleo now as she was spayed ..
before I was adopted by Cleo I spoke to a guy who had dark kitties , I just missed out on his .. I am glad I did or I wouldn’t have Cleo .. but he said he was due two more litters weeks apart , and said he would keep my details ..
well he did contact me with pictures of two little bungles of pure purrrrfection , I told him I wanted a dark BOY he sent me these pictures blow .....

My problem is this gawjus gawjus baby is a girl ready the end of January
I really really do like this baby and her colourings but I really really wanted a BOY !!
I am a little upset with the guy because I told him I defo wanted a. Boy so why send me pics of two girls ... I haven’t shown you the other girl she is very pretty but pink
He wants half the money now up front as he said this is normal to secure your baby ,.. he does how ever have another littler due soon should I wait for the boy I really wanted or do I get another girl ?
I’ve only ever had girl kitties , I wanted the experience of bonding with a boy , Cleo is my baby during the day but when daddy comes home she is daddies girl ... so my reasoning is a boy would cling more to me ( I would hope so anyway )

@ catzzzmeow one minuet I’m like yeah I will I will then my daughter said mum dad won’t allow you three or four ( I would have a house full if it was down to me ) would I be happy if I got her I know I’d love her to bits but still yarn after THAT BOY I WANT ... it’s defo a arghhhhhh
He as said it will be end of December when they go on preloved

I think if your heart is set on a boy I would wait for that perfect little boy, even if it means waiting a little longer. Someone will love these two beautiful girls and treat them like the princess's they are if not you

I personally wanted a dark or black adoptee after myYoda girl got her wings .
i waited amd did not take the first adoptees I saw .
Amd then all of a sudden there was Toby !
A dark boy

All kitties have their own personalities -
No guaramtees a male will bond more than a female or to whom

I have no advise on deposits- - surely others will chime in

I would definitely go with your instinct and wait for the baby that you wanted. Half up front seems like a lot to me, but I have very little experience with that aspect of the process. When the time is right, your boy will be there for you.

When Cleo adopted us she was actually 14 week so my daughter went to pick her up and paid the full amount , I did think a full half up front was quite a lot but it was explained to pay for inoculations vet check etc .. so I thought oh right well I will benefit cause I’d have had to pay for all those things even though I would have my own vet give the new baby a check over

Go with your gut! If this is the right baby fir you she’ll be in your heart and head the coming days and you’ll notice you all of the sudden don’t want a boy anymore. If “a boy” stays in your mind, this is not the right baby for you and you just wait untill the right one comes along.

Then again, maybe not listen to me cause I’m 42 and still single because I wait untill the right one comes along

I paid a deposit for my kitten before she was even born. I didn't care about color but I wanted a girl. To be honest I have never seen a male Sphynx in real life but all I could think of was that I didn't want to see his nutsack when he was walking around. I am so happy to have my little girl!

I agree with everyone that you should trust your gut. That said, I have a girl that is exclusively bonded to me. I don’t think the bond always has to do with gender.

I’ve only ever had female cats and the minuet my husband comes through that door I may as well not exsist lol
It’s quite possible she gets sick of me being here 24/7 and welcomes the family when they come in , she loves alyshia and my daughter but the males in the family she reallyyyy loves them
