skin is getting darker

both my male and female skin is getting darker quick over the past 2weeks was wounder what could be causeing this and is it norm she is pg and due any day its manly there heads we were thinking its b/c of the temp change but dont know

Have they been spending more time in sunny spots? Just first thing that came to mind.

they sit in the windows but thats nothing new

But the suns position is changing so they may be getting more uv rays. Or maybe their fuzz is getting thicker for winter and making them look darker? Just theories.

I would vote hormonal. You said she is due any day. I have heard of preg. pains by hubbys, so why not in male cats?

Welcome! Our male does appear darker in the colder months, It doesn't sound like an issue of any sort if it's just coloring. Are they very young? Leo and Athena have changed colors as they got a bit older, seems like after the 1 year mark or so.

Some cats darken as they age....especially seals and blues. It's normal.
