Skin rash and weird bulge on leg

Anyone can help us my 4 month old baby girl Luna has a skin rash we just noticed, she got her shots 3 weeks ago and my husband purchased wheat cat litter we thought it will go away and nothing. We not sure what is causing it her vet is booked until Wednesday. I also found a weird bump on her leg.

Are the bumps located where the shots were originally administered?

If so, it could be from that and they usually take a few days to go down.

If not, it’s best to follow up with your vet!

On the litter, wheat and corn litters both can cause yeasty rashes (I don’t know if that’s for sure what it is). I don’t see a rash in any of the pics.

The bump on her let is the concern we got Aveno baby wash and the rash is better but I posted a picture of her leg.

I think I can tell from the pics where it is on her leg and it looks too low to me to be an injection site.

Yeah that's true. Possibly a reaction of some sort. Still best to follow up with the vet.

The 2 bumps are together like a varicose vain is the only way I can describe it but a bit harder, when I touch she doesn’t seem to be in pain.

Sounds very strange (the bumps). Good to get a vet opinion for sure.


For litter I prefer to use grass litter. The name brand is SmartCat but there are several dupes now too.

dr elseys unscented litter is popular. we have had kitties with allergies to corn, wheat litters
years ago with my first nakid I switched from Aveeno to Hylyt shampoo, soap free, hypoallergenic, easy rinse , use with exfoliating gloves

keep us updated, you can ask vet if they are follicular cysts(clogged pores)

We ordered PrettyLitter to try it, it states that it will change colors if any health issues detected. We love our baby so much just want to give her the best. She is at the doctors now, waiting to pick her up

Luna is home the rash might be from the cat litter so that’s been changed and her bump from her previous vaccination. She is doing great Doctor said.

Luna is doing great doctor said it was from her vaccine and is all gone now but the dry skin not all together we need lotion for after her bath just not sure what to buy?

I always used pet conditioner by Natures Miracle. We like the plum silky scent.
