Small bumps

Gizmo gets these small bumps on her face usually around her ears and sometimes they bleed.. just looking for some information and advice please

does Gizmo rub against cat tree etc? my batman constantly gets marks around the same area from rubbing against rugs, cat tree sisal.

I dab a little trizultra w/keto on a swissper cotton pad and gently dab. (making sure the swissper squeezed out so does not run into eyes. I put Batman on my lap and hold his chin up and gently tilt head back to dab area. I use it for ear cleaning for over a decade and its dual purpose as a skin flush.

She has been constantly itching at her ears and shaking her head also, my thought is ear mites or infection. She is completely fine within herself but is very itchy and has a lot of thick wax I am currently having a battle with the vets to have her seen as they told me 2 weeks and I won’t have her irritated or in pain for that long. As things stand I have to call the vets tomorrow first thing to try and get her a same day appointment

@Gizmosmum , awh.. hugs n healing vibes. I wanted to share some vets are not familiar with sphynx /hairless and assume waxy ears are earmites. if vet check be sure they check under a microscope.

the spot on her forehead perhaps from her scratching at it ?

my Toby is notorious for waxy ears more than the others (not ear mites). nearly 20 yrs ago my vet got me hooked on trizultra w/keto for ears. I use it on my pups and my sphynx crew. Never an ear issue again. I actually wipe TobyLove's ears out 2 -3 times a week . I wet cotton rounds and qtips with trizultra w/keto and gently wipe and use qtips where I can see and gently swirl. I personally do not flush ears. I wet the cotton round with a little trizultra and give a little squeeze while I wipe out ears. it is not oily.

sharing, my last order of trizultra allivet sent me wrong product and sent me MalAcetic Ultra otic cleaner. I gave it a try on my crew. it works good too, it just has a little more oily like feel to it. they do not mind at all. It has helped TobyLove's ears .

my go to for routine maintenance will continue to be the trizultra w/keto . I like it is not oily and barely a scent. has been my go to ear cleaner for nearly 2 decades on my kittles and pups. my vet commented on my pups recent visit that they have the cleanest ears she has seen all day.

I like the trizultra w/keto because it is dual purpose as a skin flush .I use it for biweekly wipe downs except for face. for the area in front of ears I dampen and squeeze out a cotton pad with trizultra, then tilt head back and gently dab in front of ears. it really gets the brown off better than any baby wipe or water wipe. works great on chins, necks bellys armpits tail bumm area. I can go a long time between spa days.

My mothers instinct was correct, gizmo has a really narrow ear canal and has got a slight ear infection. Wax was checked with microscope and no mites. She now has an ear flush cleaner to soften and clean out the wax and some antibiotic ear drops so I am so glad I stayed persistent. In good news she is growing brilliantly and is now 2.5 kilos which means she is okay to have her spade and microchip once she is better
