Small update

Thank you all for the welcoming words and prayers for our sweet Sasha. The vet called back today and said that he is still waiting on the chemistry of the bloodwork but the other blood results didn't show much. We have opted to have an ultrasound done on Monday and scheduled surgery right now for Wednesday. We're hoping the ultrasound provides more information since our vet said if we go straight for the surgery and they find out that this can not be removed during surgery he said it would be best not to wake her back up.

We are taking a loan out to over the cost which we are looking at around 2300 for everything. We had to sit our daughter down tonight and talk with her. We have a trip planned this October to take her to disney world for the first time and she told us to use that money to save Sasha.....let me just say that broke my heart. I am trying to hold onto hope that everything will be okay. I will try to upload some pictures of her later.

That was heart breaking to read Your daughter is amazing, there aren't very many children who would want to give up a trip like that to save their kittie but you've taught your daughter very well. You guys are ALL in my prayers and I'm anxiously awaiting your updates.

It sounds like you have a pretty amazing daughter. I wish you all the best of luck with her new friend. I just looked at your photos and Sasha’s abdomen does look very swollen. I’ve never seen anything like that. Keep us updated as you get results from the vet. Hopefully it’s just a benign tumor that can be easily removed.
