I think its going to be a success, judging by the way the greedy little monsters were trying to scarf up all they could out of the bowl while I was mixing it up!. Now Im going to clean all the litter boxes (and my carpets-again) and hope for some firm poops- and all in the boxes I pray. :)

May take a little time. Hoping everything works out. I know,it is really frustrating. Can't wait to hear good results. Fingers crossed.

Good luck! Hope they take to it, but don't be disheartened if they don't at first. Fingers crossed for firm poop ;) it certainly worked for us.

First meal went down great. My old furry cat Gary, is not impressed tho! He is going to take some work I guess. I wonder why Sphynx cats have such stinky, soft poop?

I know, right!! Never had any furry cat with the same issues. They would eat anything. I think sphynx must just have really, really sensitive digestive systems.

Glad it went well with the majority of your gang.

As for poor old Gary ;) what did he have before? Our cats were on kibble, and I enticed Dippy to eat his by crushing and sprinkling a lil bit on top. If it is wet, some people say you can mix it in, and slowly decrease the amount of wet in the raw. Also things like gravy, tuna juice and cheese on top can make it more appealing.

Fat Gary was eating limited ingredient, grain free soft and kibble. This morning I had to mix a little canned wet in with the BitR mix to get him to eat it. But that started an issue with the 2 sphynx- they wanted Garys!! Ugh.

Well, we are on day 3. Jinx is eating up every bit she can get, she loves it! Archie is less excited but he eats it. Fat furry Gary is still getting a bit of canned mixed in and he eats so slow that the sphynxies are trying to knock him out of the way to eat his too!

I found 1 poop on the floor this morning- still mushy and smells a little like c-diff. Can cats get c-diff?
Will keep on keeping on and if another week goes by with no better poops, it will be back off to the vets.

Day 4: Came home this morning to 1 mushy poop on the floor. Stinky house. Fed cats, I am using Ground organic turkey with the BitR. Cleaned litter boxes when Archie jumped in and proceeded to make a loose pudding like smelly as ever poop!

The boyfriend is complaining and I cant blame him- its gross. I clean the spots with an enzymatic cleaner and Ive taken to putting down aluminum foil in the areas that he has been pooping to discourage him.

I dont know what to do. Should the Raw be taking this long to start firming things up?
