I had been seeing a few signs in my house that Moses might need a little help in the mouse catching department. So last night I stopped and got a couple of traps, baited them and pulled the stove out and put a couple behind there. Fluffy was having a party in my bed at 2am, so I nicely removed everyone from my bedroom and closed the door. At 3am, I heard Moses crying at the door, which he does frequently. But this time it was a bit different. It had rhythm to it, he would cry, yowl and walk away, and start again. Finally this turned into a cry, yowl, walk away and then I'd hear something bang into the door. And all of a sudden I shot out of bed remembering the mouse trap. I open the door, and he bolts into the room and promptly drops this on my floor:

I guess everyone needs a little help once in awhile. He was very proud of his prize! He kept walking circles around it! I disposed of it, and he spent the next hour looking for it under the dresser, as if it had run away while he wasn't looking!

The only parties she gets at night are pity parties!
I haven't figured that part out! She has a new habit, of tap dancing on my head at all hours of the morning....so, I took her tap dancing shoes and banished her to the living room! Next time Cleo can come over and maybe keep her busy, outside!

the other day. So I decided he needed a little help. I even HELPED him by pulling the stove out, and left it that way for 3 days before setting a trap, and nothing. So...we just had to take care of the little creature before it made more little creatures in my house. His little ryhthm was SOO funny though. You could tell he was walking between the kitchen and my bedroom. And finally he must have been banging the trap up against the door. He usually cries at the door when I lock Fluffy out, and I will let him back in, and he usually will just settle in and sleep and she will run around like a maniac and ride the roomba and stuff throughout the hosue...but last night he didn't give up, and then I remembed I set the traps and there he was with his "kill".
