I eat all the folded chips in the bag first. It annoys the crap out of my husband, as I dig around in the bag for them haha.

I cat touch anything fine (baby powder, etc)
I'm afraid of passing a big truck on the freeway(Makes my hubby insane) and I have to have my toilet paper on the thing just the right way, it will make me crazy if it's the wrong way

I am pretty laid back and could only think of two things. I can't drive behind someone else on a dirt road cuz I feel like I am suffocating. I HATE when my food touches each other on my plate.

Yes! I am also a folded chip eater they are the best. Another confession is that I like the greasie fries when we eat take out and at @ 30 most everyday is coffee time

Kizzy is my real name- no it isn't short for anything and yes my parents are a little nuts lol fyi, it's from Roots. Kizzy is Kunta Kinta's grand daughter. I'm a white girl from Michigan haha.. originally from Ky, but still both are way to north and way to white to be an african american name for a super white girl!

i'm a full figured girl- yet i can't stand cupcakes or chips lol - apparently i got my a$$ from pop (soda) lol.

i talk to my pets in a funky voice. i also talk for them to other people (haha!!)- ex- to John "dadda, i wanna snuggle" (per Bronxe)... the best part is my big manly bald tattooed fiancee responds to this voice and will often answer back to the pets LOL!! (we're nuts i know)

i can't stand having to get a row of staple out of the box when my stapler runs out in the office, when the two strips of metal staples rub together it makes me itch aaaarrggg
i can't read up to or on to chapter 13 when i read a book, i have to either stop at the end of chapter 11 or go on to the end of chapter 14. i'm not sure why. i'll go through gate 13 at the airport quite happily!
my boyfriend is bald and i have 2 bald cats haha. steven's sister has a thing about saving the smallest crisp in the packet until last and gets really upset if someone else eats it
oh and i can't stand it if people get my name wrong and call me kirsty.

Hi, I am Terri. It drives my husband nuts that I have a bald cat, but everyone of my purses has fur on it. I too am annal about tiolet paper being on the roll the right way. The loose part has be be in the front. When I vaccum, the lines have to be perfectly in line (can you tell I was raised by a military man?).

Hi I am nikki.... I too cannot stand backwards tp. I eat oreos by taking 2 and smooshing them together no matter if they r double stuffed or not. Oh and I love the taste of peptobismol.

I also need to have even numbers of things in my house! That is why I'm getting to Sphinx instead of 1.

One of my nicknames in college was Monkey. Not sure exactly how I got it but to this day, people know me as Monkey. They don't even know my real name.

One of the funniest things in the world to me is, people who are scared of peaches. There is a small group of people who are totally mortified by peaches. Yes, the fruit. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen, but it's 100% true.

I love to go camping and canoeing with too much beer.

#2 I have to have the bed sheets and blankets even on both sides of the bed and I make it right before I get in Husbands hates it, but loves me so he puts up with it.
#3 I flip through magazines from the back to the front
#4 I have severe anxiety attacks if I dont have my phone on me (I dont like talking on it, but if I dont have it

As always, I seem to be the craziest one in the bunch....I never tell this little quirky thing to anybody because they all look at me funny....well, I like to have what I call "Beauty Pageants" with chips or shoestring potatoes when I eat them. First, I scour the bag or can for the most attractive three or four chips or shoestrings. I lay them out on my lap and admire them for a second or two. Then the "talent" part comes....I do a little taste test, but never eat the whole thing at that point. Just a little nibble. If you get "eliminated" you are eaten immediately. The last chip standing wins! Woohoo! Then that one gets eaten too. LOL. It totally drove my ex and my last boyfriend insane. It makes me laugh!!! I talk to my cats in a weird voice and I answer for them in another weird voice. We have great conversations...LOL. I can't drink milk from a thick rimmed glass and I am very funny about the feel of the fork in my hand--if the handle is too short, I can barely stand to use it. There are probably a lot more weirdnesses too, but I don't want to divulge all my secrets right away....HA HA HA! But at least I am not afraid of any kind of fruit. We had a Lair member awhile back that was afraid of peaches like Mike said. She is getting married and is all wrapped up in making plans for that so I haven't seen her on the board for an age....but she is terrified of them. So, I guess I'm not the weirdest one after all....maybe?

I hate the sound of nails scratching skin, it makes me sick to my stomach and gives me the hibby gibbies

When no one is around I sing at the top of my lungs and pretend I am a rock star

I love febreeze. I have (went to count) 8 in my closet right now. 3 sprays and 5 pump ones. When they are on sale I have to buy a few of them haha. My house doesnt stink but i love to spray it on the bed, it smells like fresh out of the drier every time you go to bed

Well...I am a registered nurse & I LOVE wounds & drains & maggot-infested ulcers & volcanoes of pus! I love putting tubes & drains & catheters in any body oriface. My least favorite body fluid is sputum - I don't really enjoy suctioning tracheostomies. Sometimes I gag. But I am also a germaphobe-which actually makes me a great nurse! At home I could never stand it when one of the kids vomited - I would gag whileI made my husband clean it up! When I was a kid, if my brothers burped near my food, I refused to eat it, in case there were burp germs on it! I guess I will stop now. I forgot to mention that I am also enamored by amputations, chest tubes with empyema, & so on.

OMG! You are my soul sister, I am an RN as well, worked in the Operating Room for 11 years. Blood and Guts get my juices flowing! Had wound vac today actually.

2. I love Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries and I have to eat the square pieces first and leave the berries until last.
3. I won't eat with a short fork, it has be a long one.

I studied biology in University but somehow wound up in banking.

My food also cannot touch... Anything that does touch is considered contaminated and is then quarantined to be disposed of at the first moment I can do so without offending anyone.

I have a very strong yoga practice and can't imagine my life without it now.

Hi im Tanya. I was born in Russia, moved to Chicago in '95, and now been living in Israel for the past year. Planning on going to grad school in Toronto next year. =)
My husband and i been together since i was 16, finally got married this past september.
I cannot have a thick layer of anything (jelly, peanut butter, salami etc.) on my bread with the exception of plain cream cheese.
Im completely tone deaf so i developed a funny accent in all the languages i speak.
I have a phobia of elevators (if its less than 5 floors i'd rather take the stairs)
I twitch when i sleep... I guess it intrigues my hubby cuz in the mornings he would excitedly describe to me how crazy i was twitching at night

I'm trying to think of something of my own oddness but haven't got there yet, but I'll tack on to a few here:

I am the PEACH HATER!!!! Has no one else noticed they are covered in fur? We all have bald cats!? And you guys are eating fruit with hair!? I prefer to go for the bald nectarine fruit. Um yeah, so in addition to that, I also have an aversion to biting into fruit. I have to cut it up before I eat it, unless I don't have a choice!

Oh, and I live on my own, and like to sit in my same chair when I eat my dinner, so when my mom and sister come over for dinner, and try to sit my seat, I try to con my way back into it without blatantly asking for it back, but I REALLY like to sit in the same seat!

Okay, well I guess I came up with a few things there!

Also, oddly enough, you all can send me your short forks in exchange for my peaches, cause I prefer the short forks as well!

This is one of the best threads ever!!

Maxtmill and Jamiecrn....I am also a RN in a nursing home. I LOVE wounds as well. As sad as it is for the patient, I am always the first in line to find the best decubitus ulcer!! But, like you I am not much for sputum or trachs, they make me puke everytime!! LOL

I have several quirks about me I am sure, so I will try and name a few.
1. I can NOT touch anything metal to my utensils and then use them. I feel like there is a metallic taste and I hate it.
2. I am scared to death of clowns. I have been known to cry if I see one and am not properly prepared!! BTW: I am 30 years old!! LOL
3. Nothing on my plate can touch and I eat one thing at a time.
4. I can't stand the sound of other people eating or drinking if I am not also doing it. There is something about the swallowing noise that makes my skin crawl.
5. I must eat Chili Cheese Fritos while drinking milk only. It is they only way I think they taste good.
6. I don't drink pop or any liquid for that matter from a can. It has to be in a glass with LOTS of ice.

Ok, so now that I have typed this up, I am kinda feeling crazy....
