I am so excited to get our first Sphynx cats. We are talking with someone who has to find a home for her 2 sweet sphynx cats because of her dog. I will give them both such a wonderful home. They are only 3 years old.
I am a cat and dog groomer and just adore the breed!

I'm so excited and just hope I get these 2 cats!

So happy that I found this site!

Welcome to the lair!!!! It is pretty funny that you are a groomer and will be getting bald cats :BigSmile: have fun with them and don't hesitate to ask questions. There r alot of seasoned sphynx people on here.

I know right? I figure I cut hair "fur" all day long I need pets I don't have to worry about. I can still give them the best weekly bath though! :Smile:

I can't wait to learn all about them, I am half Canadian, my mom is from Toronto too!

I got them! So excited!

So Sunday the deal went threw and I went to pick up my babies! They are just wonderful! The little one, the male, is so funny, he has a huge personality, and the female, I named Fiona, is just he sweetest thing.

I could not be more excited, I actually broke into tears last night when the male, Swindle, starting rolling around on the floor, he would stop, jump up, rub on my leg and throw himself back down on the carpet. It was so awesome.

The previous owner told me that for the past 4 weeks or so he has been hiding in a closest and losing weight he was so afraid to come out! A boxer pounced on him, and that was it, he was tramatized.

He is doing very well here, and princess Fiona is getting her every whim, well except the birds she keeps eyeballing. lol.

I don't know how I got so lucky. :Laugh:

you asked how you got so lucky...... Sometimes our babies pick up for a reason. 2 of mine are from craigslist. the owner got rid of them (in my opinion) for silly reasons... BUT they're both HOME where they belong!!
YAY!
