I would no longer let him on the roof -
I would make a nice window cat tree in indirect light
And /or only take him out supervised on a leash amd harness for short times

Welcome to sphynxlair!
Is it possible to stop your little boy from going to your roof? I let my boys play in the garden when I'm there to watch them and make sure they can't go away. When the sun is shining in the summer they can't stay out for more then 20 minutes or they'll get a sun burn. So it's important you make sure your little one can't go out on his own.

Do you have a pic of your boy to share? We love to meet him!

Welcome to sphynxlair, good to have you.
I would stop him from going on the roof. He needs just
morning light. Not direct Sun. Definitely not evening Sun.

Thank you all for the reply .
Fun to be in the group !
I can't stop him from getting to the roof top . He cry constantly when I do that .
He love to play and be there .

There are no sun protections creams that can be used on Sphynx.

Rule of thumb is limit direct sun exposure to 20 minutes at a time, once a day, maybe twice.

You could also invest in a sun sail with UV protection that you can place over your roof. I have one for my patio. But even still we don't let him out for too long in the sun.

Sadly you may have to let your Sphynx cry for a while until he realizes he can't go our unattended.

Welcome to the 'Lair.

is he on a harness with you?
Or could he fall?
I would not give in to his crying - redirect play perhaps with a pole toy like Dabird.
I know they can be persistent but they don't know the dangers

Thanks for the picture! He is a cutie!

We have seen cats fall off of banisters in their house and also outside off of balconies. They are dangerous, but a roof is even more dangerous. I don't know where you live, but we have hawks here, and a kitten/cat would be in danger from them as well. I would put up with the crying.

Right, I forgot about predators. Very good point.
