Hoping he has an easy transition into your family. How sad for him and his previous owners, but how wonderful that he will have a good and loving home with you and admin. And that they can still come visit him. They are fortunate to know that they are making a great choice in homes...most of the time when you give something away, you can only guess how people will be...but the owner/moderator of a sphynx site is bound to be a great home for a sphynx!

How exciting! He is a very pretty boy! Sad for the family to have to let him go but at least they know he is going to a good home though. He will be a loved kitty!

Thank you all for your kind words And a great big thank you to Marinka for helping out and posting this great guy.
I just checked my email and they are going to drive him to our house at about 3pm I feel bad I did not want them to have to do anything extra but I guess I would want to see where my baby was going too. It is going to be hard because they do love him so much and as excited as I am I am sure I am going to have a good cry with them but I just can not wait to meet him.

Deejay is here!!!! and everything is going great so far, just a little hissing but that is it.
I have to say the couple that he is from are the nicest people and I feel so heart broken for them thay where both crying when they said good bye he was there baby. His name is after the bar where they first met
They are happy that he is with us and said we are just what they had hopped for for him, it is just weir in my joy of having another sphynx I am sad for them at the same time.
I am off to show him where the potty is and get him used to things ,I will update later.

ps. omg he is huge I am going to guess 25 or so lbs

Wow, at 25lbs Deejay is a big boy!
I'm sure his mom and dad feel just awful about giving him up but I'm sure placing Deejay with you will help soothe their heartache.

I finally got to register on this site tonight and it has been a wonderful comfort to see all your posts! Today and tonight are rough and so are the days to come, but you have all made it better with your empathy and support. You really have and it means the world to us.

I can't thank Marinka enough for connecting me with this community and finding Deejay a home. And I especially can't thank SphynxLair with words. My husband and I can only sum up the experience as bitter sweet. We are tremendously sad, again I can't find the words, but tremendously relieved and thrilled for his new family and for him. I feel blessed to have found them. I just hope Deejay knows we love him and we always will, that doesn't change just because he isn't with us.

Deejay has changed our lives and I am just thankful to have known and raised him for almost 9 years.

I am not kidding guys Deejay has been fed well. Our son says we should call the guinness book of world records.
He is very sweet and a bit nervous, and I don't blame him a bit. He is getting braver by the min. No sphynx fights just some hissing but thats it.
He went potty in the box and has drank water but not eaten yet. He has found our bed and loves the couch, and loves the toys with catnip. he rolled around with one toy for quite a while.
He is just too stinking cute! I know I know pictures! I will this weekend

Oh, Kristen, I'm so sorry for your sadness over Deejay...but you have placed him with good, loving, knowledgeable people. We love you for the fact that you loved him enough to find him such a great home....and we feel your pain over it all. If there is anything we can do to help--let us know.
