So my beautiful girl Luna, it a really regular girl, she has the usual stinky poo, but recently she is having a lot of residual poo on her starfish (what my hubby calls her bung hole). Thoughts on why she just started having more sticky poo on her starfish, she is not a fan of me scrubbing her starfish. Nothing has changed in her diet, she is eating royal canin mom/kitty with a scoop of soft Blue salmon, so I wasn't sure if it is diet or a hormonal thing or some other Sphynx surprise lol. Any thoughts, suggestion, comments greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

You can try to add a tablespoon of pure pumpkin to their wet food (not pie filling) it can help firm up their poop and that might makes it less loose.

It's possible that Luna is experiencing digestive issues or a change in her bowel movements that is causing her to have more residual poop around her anus. It could also be related to her diet or hydration levels, so you may want to consider increasing her water intake and adjusting her diet to see if that helps.

You can try adding pumpkin to Luna's diet to help regulate her bowel movements. Pumpkin is a good source of fiber and can help firm up loose stool. However, be sure to use plain canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling) and start with a small amount, such as a teaspoon, and gradually increase if needed. Too much pumpkin can also cause digestive upset. As always, it's best to consult with your veterinarian before making any significant changes to your pet's diet.

If the issue persists, it may be worth consulting with a veterinarian to rule out any underlying health conditions. In the meantime, you can try using unscented baby wipes (designed specificaly for cats )or a damp cloth to gently clean the area around her anus to keep her comfortable and clean.
