has anyone ever tried Dr Bronner's soaps? first of all, its really high quality, but without the price gouging that comes with hot-words like "organic" or "all natural". check this out..
http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/SENSITIVE.htm

those products are really high quality and super smell-good, but theyre not terribly expensive. especially compared to what a previous post said about paying 25 bucks and some change for a small bottle of the shampoo the vet sold her, you can get a gallon refill of some other really good soap from Dr Bronner's for like 50 bucks. see the savings? its still reeeeeally good stuff though. very great soap. mild yet effective, and sooo good smelling.

I generally use Dawn dishsoap. It's degreasing. So, I can get away with bathing them 1-2 times a month with a soap that breaks up all the grime and washes it away.

When we adopted Buck and Buffy, they sent us with an organics shampoo that isn't worth crap. I wound up using it on my dog because it didn't break up any gunk on their bodies or their nail beds.
That is a good idea, I have been using lemon soap from Bath and Body works, but I have to scrub him with a body scrounge and he hates it. I will try Dawn.

here is the info on it:

Directions

The great thing about it is I totally expected something stinky like most pet shampoos but when I smelled it I actually thought about using it myself. The fact that it said for dogs and cats only is the only thing that stopped me.

I'm trying to find where I can order this online, but it looks like you can't actually order it from the manufacturer. :(

Im a dawn fan as well. I used to use baby shampoo, but it didnt cut thru the oils on my husbands cat. Plus, why buy baby shampoo when I always have dawn on hand.

Just keep in mind that dawn is for dishes and does work well for cleaning during very dirty times, but it can't be good to use on a regular basis.

Just curious as to what everyone uses to bath their kitties with and take a little poll, would you sooner buy soap made for a sphynx and organic or would you continue using what your using now? I use baby shampoo because i have that on hand all the time.
I use baby shampoo or baby wash. My baby has beautiful skin so he cleans up well. My first sphynx got SO greasy after a week that I used Dawn soap on him a few times, and if I used baby wash, I had to wash him twice. Good luck!

I use baby wash and/or baby shampoo on my baby boy. We just celebrated his 12th birthday.
