First we want to thank everyone that joined our Halloween contest! Everyone had such great costumes this year!
I also want to apologize for announcing the winners a day late. Admin and I did not have much of a Halloween as I am sure you have seen the news regarding the storm in NJ. We did make it through the storm ok but now there is some major gas issues in NJ and well we can not get gas and stations that have it have lines 4 and 5 hours long. Admin ran out of gas yesterday in line and then the station closed, I went to bring him gas and I ran out on the way home. It was a huge mess but we are now home and has gas in our cars 2 full tanks.... Yes!

Anyway NJ has postponed Halloween until November 5th because of the dangerous conditions. But we have our winners!

The costumes were all amazing! I must say, however, I've been wondering for days how Mr. Vito's mom got him to sit still through all the wrapping and then photo taking!! Impressive feat deserving of a win!

Also glad to here that our fearless leaders are doing okay in the chaos post-Sandy. Hoping you - and everyone else affected - remains safe and warm. (I know I'm looking forward to re-stocking my fridge and freezer tomorrow! Figured power for more than 24 hours means it should stay... knock on wood)

I was wondering if you were ok. I noticed that there was no Soup or Master Sphynx this morning. Then the polls were still open and I didn't see any recent posts. I was starting to worry. Happy to hear all is ok, but sorry for the gas fiasco.

Susi, I too am happy to see SphynxHappy on the boards. We keep in touch outside the Lair, but I do miss seeing here here too. We joined around the same time, it has now been almost a year!

Great job! I loved seeing all the photos and the costumes and the cats reactions to us torture we put them through. Congrats to the winners.

I took over 300 photos to get a decent one. I only have a point and shoot so my camera was very very slow to take the photo. I just kept shoving him back into position and giving him a treat each time. Shoving - sounds mean but really it wasn't. The wrapping was easier believe it or not!
