As long as Facebook login is just a feature and not required, full speed ahead! Thanks for the heads up. :)

So, are you saying I need not to save my pics, I have on the Liar now, in albums.
Because, they will transfer, to the new site?

All pictures are store on the current Sphynxlair database and safeguarded.. The new albums software developer says that all album pictures are transferrable.

NOT required but an option as many sites out there offer. Some people do not like going through the hustle and bustle of registering and creating an account so they can just login to the Lair via their Facebook login ID.

Many thanks! I've had to drop out of a few forums, as they've made this their only way to log in. I even had to pass on a few scholarships in college because the benefactors required a Facebook ID.

Good news Susi and everyone else - I did a test run on importing albums from an older data base I had and it worked! It seems so far we will be able to just import all album pics over. The only thing I saw was that you will have to add an album cover to your albums - just a one click thing!

Some cool features to try. Instagram pics can be added by just inserting the full URL here

Also - you can just "drag and drop" a picture from your desk top, try it!

This is really cool - want to grab someones attention? Use the @ and start typing another members name, you will get a drop down menu with usernames until yours comes down and it tags them with an alert @ilovemysphynx - try it!

So now our name colors and Lairian statuses are different?

And how do we find threads with updated posts that we haven't read?

My sig pic disappeared. Someone made that for me. I feel bad that it is gone. Is it recoverable?

After the update, I feel like the date / time stamp on a post is quite hard to spot and I find myself having to actively look for it

All the other forums I've been on, the post date and time is usually at the top of the post, and is in it's own section, so distinguishable from the post body. In our case, it is normal text (not bold or anything) and just appears under the signature (no separator, footer or anything)

Just a suggestion (and maybe just my opinion) but it might be nice to make the post date and time more noticable and easier to spot :)

One problem I have seen quite often on the Lair is people accidentally replying to very old posts and threads so this change may make this issue worse if people are anything like me..!

I'm having issues with setting my font type, size, and color. I can't find where in the settings this option lurks. If I want it changed, I have to change it for each individual post and that is annoying.

I will see if there is an add on available to do this.
