Great news so far. She was out of surgery much quicker than they thought. Yay!!! Now to wait for her to get out of recovery and see how she is feeling. They might not keep her overnight at hospital and just might let her go back to nursing home/rehab. But so far so good.

Yes! Woohie! Yeey! So happy to hear she's allready out of surgery. Keep my fingers crossed, all candles lightend and keep sending positive thoughts.

Just spoke to Susi fast. She sounds tired as expected, but thrilled it went well. Now to wait for pathology reports, but doctor felt good about it. I also spoke to her sister Debbie and she said they should know after 4:30 if she is released or if they will keep her for the night.

Much better to rest in familiar surroundings, takes some of the edge off.

Dearest Lairians,
I am back at the nursing home rehab and feeling very good. Patti was so right to say the surgery took a lot of stress off me. Thank you everybody for lifting me up with your prayers and healing wishes. As always, you made me feel wrapped up in warm and fuzzy love. It meant more to me than I have words to express. I have been a member of the Lair almost from it's beginning and I am so grateful to Tom and Heather for giving us this place. I have received more loving kindnesses from the members here than I can even count. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that joining an online group would bring me life long friendships and a level of kindness unmatched by ANY group to which I have ever belonged.
It makes me just sob to remember all the times one (or many of you all) have stepped in, ready to do anything you could to make my life better. I want you to know that I know how loving and special every single one of you is.
With my whole heart I LOVE YOU and I THANK YOU. A special thanks to you, Patti....you know already how much I adore you, so no need to say it here.

I don't know how to translate this in good English but I think you will know what I mean: What you give to people, you get back. So if you get kindness, friendship and support from people here that's just because you give it to us!
