TCfeline raw mix

Does anyone use this product that could provide me some feedback?

Jack still won't touch the raw with BiTR, and I was thinking maybe he's decided he doesn't like the BiTR and a different supplement would be good to try.

So, for 2 days I had him on canned cat food .... urggh, I remember why I switched him to raw, his poop smells SO bad again and it's mushy and already after just one day I had to deal with poop butt!!

I would suggest alnutrin be for the feline. I have notes about tc feline that make it less appealing. I will dig dig those up when back at my desk.

Here are my notes on TC Feline:

• It uses calcium carbonate which is harder for a body to absorb than calcium lactate or actual bone.
• It uses bovine bone as well, and given the hysteria over mad cow disease, there is no guarantee that the bovine bone used is from a healthy cow. There could be unnecessary paranoia in this statement.
  
• Krill is used for fish oil, but depending on where the krill is from, there are concerns over contamination from our sadly increasingly unhealthy waters. Again, paranoia perhaps.
• The big one for me though -- the use of Xanthan Gum. Xanthan Gum is not a naturally occurring substance and in my opinion no living creature should be consuming it. It is not good for the digestive system.

My suggestion would be BitR, Alnutrin, making your own, or purchasing a reputable prepared raw.
