Thank you to our secret santa!

We got our box over a week ago but my mail goes to the post office because of some issues I've had & because of my work schedule I haven't been able to get it until Wednesday. Took a few days to post because my mom had surgery this week, we recently found out she has thyroid cancer so its just been a long week.
Getting our secret santa box this week was certainly a happy point to the week!

Starla & Bentley tried to dig & open our big box. They were both really excited, I mean just by the box alone. Seeing the contents inside made them go crazy!

We were told we had been accepted into the United States of America Sphynxie Navy.
We received pirate flags, I mean blankies
Sailor apparel including hats!
Kitties got a ton of toys & treats & I got some beautiful jewelry & also a bunch of candy (bye bye diet) LOL
We also got a beautiful beautiful drawing of Starla & Bentley.
& a wind up toy that totally gave away who our secret Santa was!
I have pics of everything & I'm going to add them to this post in a few minutes

Thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart. We loved everything & it definitely helped cheer the week up! I'm not sure if we're supposed to share who our secret santa was just yet so I won't post it but I most def know!

Julie, Bob, and Cleopatra...that was the cutest theme gift EVER! I LOVED it! I wish I could've put the pics in order, but everybody should get the drift of all the time, effort, and creativity you guys put into that gift! WOWSER!

That was absolutely adorable!!! I really enjoyed reading the letter drafting them into the Navy!!! How awesome and creative! I am absolutely joining in on the next Christmas in July. If money allows I'll join in for Christmas (we'll see--Akila has already almost bankrupt me with all of the stuff I am buying for her and I don't even have her yet LOL).

OMG I could not stop smiling. Bentley with the sailor hat was awesome. Love the themed gifts...just so thoughtful and fun and purrfect! Just a great way for you to end the week Sarah. I am so sorry things have been stressful and I hope and pray your Mom is on the mend.

AWWWW Sarah!!! Susi told us that you have been having troubles, and I do hope your mom is doing better. We have dealt with cancer in our family, and it is so stressful. It is great that we could give you some fun times and maybe a little stress relief.

I am SO glad you all liked it! Sorry about the diet sabatoge, but I think I have seen children in your posts here and on Instagram? Plus, I couldn't think of what else to put in as "cargo" that would fit the theme! We had so much fun with this one! It all started with your saying that Bentley likes small blankets, and JoAnns had the cutest pirate-themed fleece. That started the whole sailor/pirate idea. Then Bob wrote the letter drafting both of them, and the honeysuckle toys we found fit right in! How do they like the honeysuckle toys? It was really tough, trying to keep Queen Cleopatra from helping herself to all the toys. She really wanted to play with them. The sailor clothes look so great on Bently and Starla--now I will have to make some for Cleo and Marcus.

We are glad everything came all right and that everybody enjoyed it! Merry Christmas in July!!!!

Darn, you mean that Cleo (or I) can't send a live scorpion? We were looking so forward to doing just that next summer! Actually, I am always worried that I won't be able to find Scott the Scorpion when I need him. That's the name of the toy one, and every time we buy them, I try to stock up, but everybody loves him, so it's hard to keep him around. As long as Scott is available, no live scorpions will be mailed....:nailbiting:

Hubby hates spiders here...I am sure he would not do well with a scorpion...lol.

The only way I handle real scorpions is to scream for Bob at home and to get a custodian at school. We get really large (up to 8 inches long) ones at school, because it is next to undeveloped desert. And I can't scream for anyone, because as the teacher, I must stay calm. But I am screaming on the inside... I do NOT like scorpions!

They LOVE them! They love everything actually. Bentley loves little blankets he drags them around in his mouth he's so funny. He wasn't a fan of the hat though! LOL
The diet sabatoge was ok after all because we took the kids to the movies anyway! I smuggled it in in my purse.
The scorpian gave it away & they love that thing too, Its been found in my bed multiple times LOL
