Might I also add, that I had no trouble disturbing my kitties to get up and eat THREE times last night. The first time I had a PBJ sandwich and lemonade at 1am, then I 3 pieces of toast with butter, and 2 glasses of choclate soymilk at 3 am , and another PBJ and another glass of chocolate milk at 6am, and went back to sleep until 9am. I think I have a tapeworm or something going on. Then I ran out of food.

My husband and I decide who has to get up to get a drink, or food, or blanket, pillow, or what have you, by who doesn't have the sleeping sphynx on their lap.
Some times the kitty is out of luck if I find myself hungry with no husband to get me things. You have inspired me to make a PB&J right now, and drink some Chocolate Almond milk! It is just so good. Thanks!

This is a conundrum we often face, to eat or let the kitty sleep? Fortunately they also give you reason not to get up for less fun stuff, say... doing the dishes
I love using them as an excuse to not get up!!!! Like when my husband wants help in the kitchen or outside.... "Aww but honey Oz/Diggs just fell asleep/ just got comfortable!!!!" Works most of the time

I don't like Sour Patch Kids, so for me I wouldn't disturb my Boone.
On the other hand, if it was a bag of Swedish Fish I'd go for it! The worse that would happen would be that Boone would squeek, stretch & re-position himself before going back to sleep.

I had the same dilemma this morning. Ladybug was asleep on my stomach and my stomach was growling so much that it kept waking her up. But not enough for me to make her move for me to go get something to eat. Especially since she just had surgery on friday.
