Aside from the use of this song in the Humane Society commercials that brings me to tears every time I see it...it comes to my mind every time I look @ the very 1st photo I ever saw of my Sphynx, Boone (my avatar pic). I simply fell in love with his face and was wondering if any of you have that one pic of your babies that simply melts your heart every single time.

Ohhhh...what a sweet post. I do not have the first picture of Babas that I got saved on my iPad, I have it printed at home. But it was a picture of him sprawled out on the carpet with his little bits hanging out for all to see. He was next to his brother and we got to choose between the 2 of them. His brother was blue and white and I thought that was the color combo I always wanted, but there was something about that picture of him just hanging out and he was so ugly he was cute. That was IT he was ours from that minute on.

But I have several pics where Babas has his soulful eyes and looking at me as only he can that I adore and melt every time...like this one

What a wonderful thread. So ingenious. I can't even look right now to see what pics I can post. This thread has me so choked up with emotions as I recall the love in my heart that I felt "the first time I saw their faces"!
The love I feel for my boys is beyond words...they just do something to me that most people can't imagine except for all of you on the Lair.
You may recall reading that I waited like 18 years for my first sphynx. Then I searched for a very long time until I found the breeder that was right for me. Once I made arrangements over the telephone with what I requested, I literally cried on the phone because I was SO HAPPY! I will never forget how I viewed Liam's photos that I got from the breeder once he was born...and then all the other photos of his progress from a little pinky to my handsome love.

This is the picture, of the 1st time I saw Pinky. It's not one of her best pics. She stole my heart. I turn the channel when the animal cruelty ads are on. It's too upsetting . I can't watch them. I cry.

Then there is this one.....it melts my heart every time too. Habibi had just had her first litter of kittens....she was tired. Moody went into the bassinette and laid gently beside her...touched his head against hers and if you look closely, you can see he is "holding her paw". He loves her so very much and he was comforting her. Makes me sob just thinking of it.

The first picture is from last July that Susi sent me to enter Nipsey in the 4th of July contest. Just look at that face. I laughed so hard because the look on his face explains his personality to a tee. And look at those big ears pushed back as if he's saying "I'm not impressed"

The second picture is another one of my favorites also from Susi. Look at his little Whisker pads...The white on his whisker pads gahhh love them! So kissable!!
