The guys got their stroller the other day and not only am I thinking it's great, they LOVE it. It has become their new bed, jungle gym and hiding spot all in one. Had to get it camo as the hubby only wanted a "manly" one. Now, if only the weather would get warm enough to actually take them out.......:Hysterical:

They look so cute together snuggling in that stroller! I'm also waiting for warmer days as I'd like to take Lucifer outside for the first time on his leash and visit the park.

Congrats with your new stroller!

That is soooo cute how they're hugging each other!!

I just love the sweater your cat has on on your avatar, did you make that yourself?
I noticed you are with a knitting group, can anybode join and what if you are more of a crochet person, can you join then?
And how do you join a group?

I would love to get a stroller.
But I am scaired that our diddl (who has got hcm) would be stressed out in the stroller.
I don't know what to think: on the one side people say that cats are very territorial en that they get stressed if you change their enviroment so if you believe that then a stroller would be a bad idea.
On the other side: sphynx are very curious and like to see new things and like to explore new stuff. So if you believe that you would be doing them a favour if you get them a stroller.
I don't know what to believe.
I'm just scaired that diddl wil get stressed and will get a hart attack...
But I adore those strollers and would love to get one and take my baby's with me.

And by the way, how do you handle the need to poop and urinate?
Say that you go on an outing with your family and you take your cats with you in a stroller.
And you are gone for about 3 to 5 hours.
What if the cats have to pee or poo?
What do you do then?
I would be stressed out by the thought that one of the cats feels the need to poop or pee but can't because he or she is in the stroller...
Anybody has a solution to that problem?

My Boris has hcm, too. But he absolutely loves to go outside. When it is warm enough, I take him into our private yard. He loves to explore and insect-hunt. I want to get a stroller too. When I have to take him on long car rides, I always put a small litter box in the car, and he doesn't hesitate to use it. On the other hand, I take him to my office about once a week, and he doesn't use the litter box there at all, for about 4 hours. Maybe take a covered box, store it at the bottom of the stroller? Make sure he has a harness and leash and give your kitties the opportunity to use it while stopped?

Gabe is an accomplished traveler. We got a long, shallow "rubbermaid"-type dish, about 9 x 13" size, with a snap-on cover for his travel litterbox. We put a little Feline Pine (his normal litter, great for odor control) in the box, snap the lid shut and put it in the back of the car. He lets us know when he needs to use it, and we just take off the lid for him. It's small enough to fit in the bottom tray of his stroller, too, if we ever go on a long hike.

Gabe doesn't get stressed at all by travel, in the car or stroller. He loves to look at new things, and meet new friends.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the great tips, I do put a small litter box in the car when we go away so I guess i'd do that for the stroller too.

Isn't it hard to believe how good it feels to see one? Gives me hope! The kittens haven't actually seen their first bird, it will be fun when they do. They have seen a few squirrels and rabbits but were not sure what to make of them, lol!

We used to love to hang out down at the lakefront, spent a lot of time there while dating and still take a drive down when we are in the area. Not often enough though!

Small world! I grew up in Wausau & now live in Appleton! I still get back there to see my parents once in a while. I was tempted to get the stroller out (with a blanket) yesterday, but didn't. Soon, though!!!

I am going to get a snuggle-safe along with my stroller. They are these disc things that you heat in the microwave, and then use as a heat source for kitty. I think that would work great for the stroller while its still cool outside. Along with sweaters and blankets of course!
