@SallyJaneAnn I used to be the same way with my vehicles and animals, however these guys are an exception. They can roam free all they want, plus, they're naked so it's not like they'll get hair all over! That was my biggest pet peeve.

I'm sure in no time, Peanut will rule the Tesla!

Ha-Ha!!!! I LOVE that! Peanut Rules The Tesla!!!

Thank you AnnJo! Loving the picture of your kitty ... look at those blue eyes ... I swear you could get lost in them ... and frequently do {} So you know Peanut's name - what is your 'beautiful one' called?
Yes, my kitty definitely has beautiful blue eyes! Her name is Raphael. The vets office calls her Raffie, I mostly call her ”little kitty, baby girl, sweetheart”. My husband calls her my “evil henchmen” lol. He really does love her but he is allergic so he doesn’t enjoy her as much as I do. He tolerates her cuddling but then washes his hands as soon as she gets off him. BC1CB54E-D789-4EDE-9890-AF5A4E6E4780.jpeg

Lovely, lovely name. I have an 'adopted' daughter - she actually belongs to a friend of mine - and her name is Raphaella (Raffie, for short) She's amazing already a British downhill skiing champion and working hard for the Olympics - she's 14. Ha-ha we all have several other names don't we? Sleepypaws, beautiful boy, Littlebaby. What are we like? Wonderful that's what - best Mum's ever! Cuddles to Raffie x

Well, my lovely ladies .... Just 72 hours to "PeanutGotchaDay" .... this is the latest image that I think I'll have specially printed and framed. His eyes are amazing and show so many colours. I can't wait for him to arrive .... but part of me is desperately sad that I'll be taking him away from his cat family and a place where he is clearly so very happy. All I can guarantee is that he will be loved every day of his life. Any tips for helping Peanut to settle in would be much appreciated. Have a lovely weekend everyone (including your little babies!) x

Woot woot down to counting the hours not days lol. One tip is to throw a blanket in the dryer and swaddle him like a baby especially at night when watching TV etc. He will look at you as the safe warm place and it will encourage him to cuddle. It is a huge new world just take it slow. Put him in his litter box often so he knows where it is the first day. Last tip take lots of pics they grow so fast.

Warming the blanket in the tumble dryer is a great idea. I already have a clean "dedicated" litter tray which he will use. I have another puss and believe that they should have their own things (especially loos!) I hear you about the fast growing! Peanuts breeder has been kind enough to send me almost daily photos of him ... so I have saved these to a special file and will print of an 'old fashioned' album when I remember to buy some good quality printing paper! Thank you again, for your help .... it takes a village to raise a sphynxie! x

@SallyJaneAnn Peanut gotcha getting closer ... I know your heart is going pitter patter Peanut is adorable and his eye coloring is stunning! hope to see a pic of your other puss name?
great idea adding an extra litter box or two. Highly recommend setting up a kitty safe room, bedroom, bathroom, and do a slow introduction over a few days or longer going at their comfort level. we can share tips

it is a big new world for both of them :)

some contracts have a wellness check within so much time, so you can set one up in advance if you like.
you can ask about bringing a stool sample.

have you told your other kitty about adorable Peanut ??
you can also ask breeder to cross scent a towel , blanket with his mum/siblings scent to bring home with you.

I am old school and love an actual photo album, pics.
Love the sentiment of that picture of Peanut and an album very special

tick tock Gotcha hour countdown with you!!!

following closely for updates! you do have a village community here to help in anyway :)

My other puss is a BIG black cat called "Lewis" - after Lewis Hamilton - not a big chap - but black and beautiful all the same. I'm also a BIG F1 fan. Lewis was a Battersea Dogs & Cats Rescue. He loved Piglet. On one occasion - when George - a BIG Tabby - sneaked into our house - as well as helping himself to Lewis's cat bowl - he thought he'd take a chunk out of Piglet too. Cue Heroic Music! Lewis SWOOPED in and put himself between Piglet and George ... and saw George off. Lewis 1 George 0. Lewis was always very protective of Piglet ... and although he has enjoyed being Numero Uno Cat in Residence ... I see no problem with dove-tailing Peanut into the family mix. A safe room is a very good idea. I am rather blessed with a few rooms ... so Lewis can take one half of the house and Peanut the other. Lewis is pretty independent anyways - and has his own daily agenda. But a slow intro. is also a very good idea. My lady is also providing a cross scent blanket for comfort. I have a Sphynx specialist in Richmond - just outside London - who I'm taking a stool sample too in a couple of weeks time. So much can be ascertained from a sample. I have already made up a raw food mix (in freezer currently) - and Peanut is already on a raw diet - so the sample will show that he's getting exactly the same. I'm following her recipe to the letter! Thanks again, Yoda Mom! Your brill! x

@SallyJaneAnn awhhh thank you for sharing the Lewis and beloved Piglet heart warming story.
Bless you for adopting Lewis. Hope to see pics! I have always had a black cat in my life. they are amazing and so often overlooked at the shelters.

Peanut surely will have a big brother to watch over him. I imagine Lewis will be rather happy with his little Peanut.
omg you are amazing! all set on Raw food too!

following for updates :)
oh forgot to ask, what color are Peanuts eyes considered? they are stunning...never saw that coloring

Poor black puddy cats! They get a bum deal ... I know ... but I have no idea why. In the sunshine, his beautiful coat reflects an icy blue. His "rap" sheet on his pen (when we first met him) described him as the world's most antisocial, destructive cat. The list went on and on. But when he saw us, he was nothing less than sweet natured and very, very affectionate. Described as "definitely NOT a lap cat" he happily sits on David's lap most evenings. The Cat's Home allowed us to take him home immediately. Which is most unusual. He has been with us now for the better part of 10 years. And yes ... he's going to a great older bro.

Your right ... Peanut's eyes are a unique colour and in different lights can reflect in different ways. They are quite captivating. If anyone has any idea's about how to 'define' or categorise them I'd be interested. Ha! Grinding Peanut's food ... the kitchen looked like a scene from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - and CSI would have had a field day ... with the pieces of ground chicken thigh bone that 'pinged' around the room. NOT a job for vegetarian/ vegan !!! I would imagine it would leave them feeling quite queasy!

Speak soon lovely lady x
