I've a number of people ask me how I am able to capture the likeness of my subjects so closely. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a photo of Susi's Habibi and Dulcinea as they are sketched onto the canvas. After I have the first layer of color painted onto the canvases I'll post that as well.

The trick is to be able to use the techniques developed by the Italian masters such as DaVinci and Michaelangelo. If you look closely you will see one of the basics in this photo.

More than welcome. I'm just abut done with the first layer of color in Dulcinea's portrait. One I get Habibi set tomorrow I will post them together.

That's awesome! And I thought it was funny that you posted this because I was going to ask you to do this with my portrait off Ozzy. :Smile: Great minds... :Smile:
