I'm so very sorry to hear about Diesel's passing...you two are in my thoughts.

About the pawprint...I inked my beautiful Amen-Ra's paws after he passed and plan on incorporating one of the prints into one of my current tattoos

Such a heartbreaking story. Seems he suffered, his entire, short life here.
I know you are heartbroken, and how hard it is. I will send up prayers
for you. But, he knew he was loved dearly and you took such good
care of him. You did all you could. Little Diesel is not suffering
anymore. Bless you.

As others have said, I too have shed many a tear for poor little Diesel and Peanut these past few days. I'm betting, though, that they've found each other in heaven and are having a grand old time - running, playing, feeling good and seeing just how loved they are down here by so many people - especially their mommas.

May each day get a little easier as you continue to heal, and please continue to ask for support from all of us at the Lair as you need it. *HUG*

I'm so sorry for your loss, can't even imagine what you're going through right now. But I'm glad the breeder is so supportive so that once you're ready to love again you can bring joy and love to another kitten that needs a home.

You did the right thing--you gave him the only gift there was left for you to give him. You stopped his suffering. Bless you for being strong enough to put his feelings first.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had Ziggy's paw print tattooed on my leg when he passed. I got it from doing an ink pad impression. I also have my baby girl's paw print above Ziggy's and it was done from a clay imprint they took before she was cremated. ::HUGS:: to you and your family.

Sorry to hear what you have gone threw with your baby. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. You are very strong and a very good mom to that baby and did everything you could for him.

He was loved and cared for and he lived a full life--no matter how short--and you were strong enough to relieve all of his pain and give him peace.

I hope he and Peanut become fast friends :)

You did the right thing Kayla. It's so painful and even to imagine what you were going through, it's a big toll on a mom. :Cry: You are so brave! Thank you for letting us know what happened and at least he knows how much you loved him. You let him know. I hope you find the perfect paw print for his/your tattoo. Stay strong precious lady. Him and peanut now have each other and the memory of the love they had. Big squeezes

I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. Like Susi said, you put him first, and that is huge! It takes a lot to do tht, many cannot, but you saw him suffering and you didn't want that for him. I'm sorry you are in pin, I hope it begins to ease for you soon.

Kayla I am so sorry this happened. Take comfort in knowing you did the best you could and that you loved him. You gave him a great home filled with love. I think he knew that.

He must not have wanted you to know anything was wrong if he even fooled the vet into thinking he was great even after his surgery.

I am thankful your breeder is so supportive. Love and hugs to you. We are here for you when you need us. Take care.

thank you for allowing disal to tuch so many of us on the forum. i am so sorry his time here was so short. rember always the love you gave him and the love he gave you back..that little man will live on in all of us.. you where a great gardian angel for him and did all you could..a tato whould be extra cpecial knowing the meaning of the tinny paw who was so brave and loving.
