Tobylove ...in the arms of the angels, gained his angel wings today (4/26/25)

With tears and a shattered heart, sharing my strong boy warrior Tobylove gained his angel wings today at 2:14 PM.

( ironic time like valentines day date and his name)

This morning started like any other day. Tobylove was first up early to eat and play, his respiration rate was good at 28 .

We watched Pope Francis' funeral this morning, snuggled in bed sharing cuddles and Tobylove kisses.

I thought to myself what an extraordinary morning for me and him to watch history unfold today. I was thinking of Saint Francis of Assisi the patron saint of animals.
I took the dogs out and there was a big blue heron feather at the pond edge. I haven't seen a feather here in a long time, it gave me goosebumpps thinking was it a sign?.

Tobylove got up and played , scratched hard on his scratching pad got more to eat..... all was good until it wasn't....

I walked back in the room, he was sitting on the floor by the scratching pad play area . He looked up at me and I thought okay, you want to play. I reached down and he tried to get up and I immediately noticed rear leg weakness and he was wobbly. his extremities were warm but I noticed he started to open mouth breathe. My heart sank, I knew in my gut today was the day I had to be his voice with wings of peace and dignity.

I swaddled him in his favorite blankie and favorite cat toy he has had all his life.

I surrounded him with all my love and countless Tobylove kisses.

Rest easy sweet Tobylove. I love you forever and ever . " Until Then" my friend , My Tobylove.

I am so sorry. I’ve not been around as much because of work obligations and such but hopping on the site and seeing this breaks my heart. I know how much he was your soul cat. You gave him the best life. If you know about the earport on FB, know that he is with Lady Bast telling all who came before him how wonderful his mom is and what a wonderful life he had while earth side. He is returned to full health and has picked his angel wings which he will use to visit from time to time. So when you feel that breeze or hear some furious scratching, though no one seems to be at the post, know that he is checking up on you.

Today I received beautiful roses from Laura at the Chewy Pharmacy. she was an angel helping me with overnighting Tobylove's medications and always going above and beyond.

I got teary eyed when I received a big box from chewy rx and opened it up to a dozen beautiful roses and a condolences note from Laura. I recognized her name right away and sent her a thank you note. how fitting for roses for my Tobylove.

Oh Yoda mom, you shared TobyLove with us completely in his life and now we share in your sorrow. Everything that brings you some measure of peace, lets me know that sometimes the justice and reassurance we need, is being provided to you. @tontiangel , and all sharing, My custom memorial statue of Tobylove arrived Today. (artist is Neil Eyre, he is an artist for the Harmony Kingdom pieces some may be familiar with. He has etsy listings of sphynx and can customize, neileyredesigns. I sent Tobylove's photo asking for just the nose be black on the listed item.) Neil surprised me and did a full body in detail. love it. very near and dear to me. He also did one of my Yodaman years ago. very special tribute to my Tobylove . I miss you beyond words Tobylove. Thank you for the special visits that take my breath away.

I ordered a little etsy 20 buck tribute photo ring. the first ring did not show his dark nose. I contacted seller, she remade , more representative of his Tobylove nose kisses.

sharing the sterling sphynx ring I got to honor Tobylove. matches the other pieces I got from the same seller in honor of my Yodas. they are made with the lost wax method ,takes a few weeks to receive . nice quality, I wear daily in honor of my 3 sphynx angels

@tontiangel , the emotions ebb and flow. I know it is the cycle of life and love.
sometimes a momentary trigger , and then I remember all the love. No matter the hurt, I would not have missed the journey for anything in this world.
I was blessed to have adopted him when he was 11 months old( believe it or not off a craigslist add and no background, when my heart was fragile from losing Yoda to a clot. I was blessed with 12 yrs with him.) .full of spunk till our very last day together. He was my hearthealer for my loss of my very first nakid Yoda in my avatar photo. He did his heart healing above and beyond.
