Toe Gunk

Does anyone have tips for cleaning their little toes? Mine get all this dark gunk along the sides of their nails, in that little like open part of the underside of each claw/nail, and also pushed up under the skin folds of their nails. I bath them regularly, but it does not take care of this gunk. I try to clean it off with qtips (or even with my own nails, lol) but they are so fussy about me doing this! It seems like I am just unable to keep up with this grimy stuff! Any tips would be much appreciated!!

May boy seemed to get much more of the brown toe gunk building up than me girl does for some reason.I used to put gentle pressure o his toes so the claw was exposed and the gunk was pushed out a little then just carefully pull it our, with my fingers! But Im sure other members may come up with more ingenious solutions

I use baby wipes. I sit my cats on my lap facing away from me so their back is again stomach and I just pull off the gunk that way.

Interesting... my boy gets much more of the gunk build up than my girl too! I've been getting by just doing it with my fingers as well, but they do not like it! haha

@sarmar , I keep on hand waterwipes, bought multipack on amazon my boy gets gunkier nails than my girl. He has big skin folds around his nails. I gently push around skin folds like nudeau mentioned, around nails and wipe
