Hi everyone,
I tried a few months ago to get involved with Spyhnxlair and I am hoping I now have the time to spend with guys. I currently have two cats. The first is black, smoke and white Devon Rex named Harley and he is 6 years old. My second cat is a 6 month old Sphynx named Cookie. Cookie came to me shortly after my beloved Orange Tabby Devon Rex, Tucker, passed away (had to put him to sleep) from complications due to diabetes. I wasn't thinking of getting another cat right away, but i was patrolling the internet looking for Devon Rexes and Sphynxes and came across a local breeder who a had four month old boy ready to go to his forever home. I named him Cookie right away from his pictures on Facebook. I have never had a Spyhynx before and he has been a true delight. He purrs a loud rumbling purr as soon as you touch him. He fetches and is very nosy about everything. I love him to pieces. Cookie and Harley get a long very well. They chase each other, sleep together and wash each other. I am so happy to see them getting along together. I also also happy to say that my husband, not really a cat lover, is also enjoying Cookie. He has brought real spark of life to our house. I will even go so far as to say that Cookie helped me from slipping back into a depression that I am trying to recover from. he makes me realise that feeding him is more important than lying in bed all day.
Cheers, Christa
