So i ordered the product "u-stew" from the same company as "better in the raw" and got it last week.
Harold started a few days ago, cant remember , 3 or 4 days i think. I stopped the dry food completly the day i started and he hasnt had soft stool since.
Perfect formed and doesnt smell at all. Which is wonderful!!! I was hoping desperately to get the same results as you all get with raw without having to serve raw.
This is a powder you add to "cooked " food instead of raw.
I have a couple questions for better in the raw feeders tho:) when you use chicken, do you use dark meat? Or white meat? Or a mix?
For one batch i used all dark meat, the next batch i just did this morning i did half white , half dark.
It doesnt specify in the directions so i thought maybe it doesnt really make a difference since the mix makes it a complete diet anyway.
Anyway soo exited with the results!! And soo is harold! He trys climbing up my leg as im making it and goes crazy till he gets some!

We use better in the raw, I use chopped meat for the dogs as well as turkey and chicken. The cats get turkey or chicken. I buy the bulk packages of the meat ground up. The place I get it grounds it fresh everyday, I make 4 lbs at a time, that's 4 for dogs and 4 for cats. The dogs last about 6 or 7 days ( they are small). The cats last about 8 or 9 days. 4 dogs 2 cats. I also give the chicken livers and hearts as treats. I don't think it matters if it is dark or light meat. Good luck!!!
