Great news! So glad to hear it! I hope you can find to solution to his issues quickly and get back to a healthy kitten! Super!

I definitly sign for a healthy kitten. I hope I can make a thread in a few weeks with the title "help Toa is driving me crazy", where I tell you that he and his brother Ross are turning my house up side down while playing.
Thanks for your support.

Oh my gosh - I just read this thread and I held my breathe scrolling through and I thought my heart was about to jump out of my chest.
I am SOOO relieved for you, I could cry (but I'm at work, so I shouldn't!)
I will keep Toa in my thoughts - I truly hope the little guy feels better very soon.

Oh reading this thread now must feel like watching a drama movie on tv;) . A movie with a HAPPY ending! Thanks for keeping Toa in mind. We still have a long way to go.

@Toa and Ross ,Happy dance! No FIP!

Keep good news coming! All paws n fingers remained crossed!

Will Toa eat a teaspoon or less of slightly warmed 100% canned pumpkin?
Read it works ironically for both types of poo issues!
Just gave some to my dog that just got neutered! Toby cost loves waked pumkin about 5 seconds in my microwave finger tested .

Lol about the socks too! It works!

The sock thing worked for Ross today! He sat on my sock snorring like crazy:)

Toa instead...he sniffed at the sock, gave me THE look and hurried away. When I tried again he did meoow real loud and hide him self under the couch. So I guess he thinks I smell too bad:wideyed:
I'll try it with less smellier socks tomorrow;)

I'm a little afraid to give Toa some pumpkin cause the vet told me to only give him the hypoallergenic dry food and nothing else.
He's eating that food for a week now, and gets antibiotic and prednison. Diarrhea did came back yesterday. So maybe I have to try the pumpkin cause the diet isn't helping...still happy it's not FIP but also worried again about what the problem is.

Thanks for your advise and support. I aprecciate it very much!

Okay finally there's some kind of treatment plan for Toa.
All the results of the blood-and pooptest are known and the vet had contact with an internist to make up a plan.

In blood was shown that Toa has a inflammation (unknown where) and slight anemia. The pooptest did show that Toa still has too much of the E.coli bacteria.
The vet and internist doesn't know for sure what is causing this. Maybe it's an allergic reaction to something in his food (although he's on hypoallergenic food for weeks, and still diarrhea) . It's not so much the diarrhea that's concerning them but his lack of energy.

So for the coming 4 weeks Toa needs to eat only anallergic food (dry food from Royal Canin)with a teaspoon rabbit rawfood if he doesn't want to eat this dry anallergic food.

He needs to take 2 medicines: noroclav (antibiotic) and metrozanol.

After 4 weeks the diarrhea must be gone but most important he has to have more energy. If not they will take a biopt from his intestines.

Keep my fingers crossed this treatment plan will bevthe solution for Toa!

Toa he did have a very good day...he played and even did win a wrestling game with his brother Ross. That makes me so incredible happy

Thanks @Kate @Xandria and @MelissaAlice !
The treatment plan will start friday (food and meds need to be ordered, I can pick it up at the vet friday).

When I saw Toa playing today I realised I hardly know Toa. A week after he came live at my place he got diarrhea and shortly after he lost all his energy.

So curious how he's going to be when he has got his energy back.

Think Ross can better be prepared!

All the medicine arrived so the treatment plan for Toa can begin

Toa is curious...what's all that?
image.jpg
No way! I'm not going to eat all that. Forget about it!

Don't say I didn't warn you!

Okay so Toa hates my guts by forcing him to take all this medicine. Another 13 days to go.

But if this will help him to get better he can scratch all my skin of my body!!

Ouch is right. Wow that looks nasty. I can only hope looks worse than it feels. Might try to kneel on floor and scoot him in between your legs and try to pop pills from there. Let him know it is YOUR way go in letting him know you are in control.

Poor you!!!
I was lucky that all the pills for Elfie were small, I was able to mix it some tasty food and she didn't even know it was there.

With Skully I crush up all her pills and mixed them with water then squirted the water into her mouth.

Little Mighty Peanut; why would you do that to your poor mommy! Don't you want to get big and strong so you can keep beating up Ross?!?

Thanks all! I already giving him medicine for 3 months now. Normally it goes without struggle so guess I wasn't carefull enough anymore. Adding the big pill (only by seeing it, of course I made it smaller when I gave it to him) was too much for my little boy. So today, although the sun is shining, I wear a shirt with a collar to work!

@Calicocious : this noon I go shopping for a armor!

@Xandria: we both need the well wishes now!

@Catzzzmeow : the little devil escaped me when he sat between my legs. He was looking for a hidding place in my neck and scratched all the way up. After 3 months giving pills twice a day I was too easy with it. This morning I did pay more attention and it went smoothly again.

@MelissaAlice : of course I want to beat up Ross. But yesterday I felt like beating up my human! Did you see that huge, really really huge pill? You can't expect me to take that one without putting up a fight. Still my human did win cause I took all the 3 pills finally. My human says that proofs that I'm the Mighty Peanut for sure!
