She's tired, Jacky...it looks like it's time to let her go to a place where there is no more pain. No more suffering. You have done all that is humanly possible to keep this poor girl alive, now you have to let her rest. I am so very sorry for your loss and I know your heart is very heavy with the hurt you must feel. But please know that you will be giving her the only gift there is left for you to give her. She has loved you long and hard, now you must love her more than yourself and let her lay down her burden and shed that old body that has failed her. Then remember her as a little girl that stole your heart and lived a good, long and loved life. You can lean on us to share your sorrow because we love you, Jacky. And may Coco rest in peace in a place where she is young and vibrant again---and hopefully she will bring lots of our love to all the angels we've lost and will always love.
Coco knows she was loved. Bless you and praying that your heart can take some comfort in that her suffering will be over....but the love you shared will be around forever. Death can not seperate us from that.
Holding you tightly and wishing it wasn't so...
Susi and the gang
So sorry Jacky for the pain you are going through. Susi indeed stated it far better than I could. Coco is tired and sometimes they hang on for us not themselves. I have always told the families of dying patients the best gift they can give their loved one is permission to go.
I'm so sorry to hear of Coco's setback but like everybody else has said, she's lived a long, fulfilling life and now it's her time to go. I know it's hard because you love her so much, you can't imagine your life without her. Believe me, I felt the same way about my Sydney...even though I just got another cat, he won't fill the void that was left by her passing. However, sometimes change is inevitable, even when we dread it the most.
