She just ate a great breakfast and took her meds like a champ. I just gave my husband a tutorial on her meds and food. I'm leaving for the weekend and I feel so much better about being gone now that she can eat on her own.

I know she'll be in good hands❤️

I'll update everyone as I hear from him this weekend. Fingers crossed things go smoothly!!

Just a quick update, I've talked to my husband everyday that I've been gone and Karen is doing great! She's eating, drinking and obviously feeling better based on how feisty she's getting with taking her medicine.

We have a recheck appointment on Tuesday, I think the vet is going to be amazed. She just keeps wowing us❤️

That's so wonderful. Probably, the best, the little doll
has felt ever. Bless her heart. This blesses my heart, to hear,
How much better she feels and what you've done for her.

I just got home and checked Karen over. The tumor in her mouth is all healed up and looks great! Her tongue comes out the left side of her mouth still and that seems to be the main thing holding her back from devouring her food. She's getting better at it everyday though.

Her snotty nose is back... I'm not quite sure what to do there. If she's not on antibiotics then she instantly gets a snotty nose. She has a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait for them to see her.

@Carmen Lucia ask your vet if he knows about the Azthromycin maintenance plan for chronic nasal congestion. I once had a kitten on it and she finally was getting all better. When she would just be on an antibiotic for a period of time, it was working, but once finished with the medicine, it all came back until that maintenance plan.

We just got back from the vet... They seemed shocked that she was even alive, I'm not even kidding. The Dr was floored at how well she looked and how great her mouth had healed up. Karen has gained almost a pound!!!

We're going to continue steroids twice a day for another week, she got another Convenia injection and we'll be back for a recheck in 2 weeks. Could her mouth issue be a granuloma and not a tumor? Probably not but who knows, right? She's surprised me this far. Our game plan is to just take it slow and deal with each week as it comes.

It seems crazy that a week ago I was ready to say goodbye and preparing to lose Karen. I couldn't be happier❤️

God's in control and he still answers prayers.
It's just been his will for Karen, to get better.
Thank' s be to the Lord. Keep us updated.
