@Carmen Lucia I can only imagine how you are feeling, Carmen. You have been doing an amazing job to give Karen a loving forever home. You have achieved that and there isn't anything else you could be doing for her. Just continue what you are doing and we will continue our prayers for you both.

Well we just got home and Karen is looking great!! She was so excited to see me she practically jumped into my arms.

Her lymph node doesn't look too much larger, it must have been the photo angle. So for now, Karen keeps on ticking:) She ate great while we were gone and was a good patient for her meds.

She's currently curled up on my lap purring like crazy❤️

Oh what a relief for you. Glad it was just the camera angle and it did not grow more. Enjoy your cuddle time for the rest of the weekend.

Karen wants to go outside so bad, do any of you take your cats out on a harness and leash? I think we might try it today. Maybe meet the baby chickens and play in the garden... In the shade.

Karen is glued to me since I got home!

@Carmen Lucia , , keep in mind her immune system in Senstive right now -
But I know personally last year my old Duke dog in "Pawspice" I granted him his wishes
- quality time - he loved the wind in his hair and a good sniff of outside - and a little massage when we got back inside - it gave him something to look for every day -
Perhaps you could borrow a kitty stroller ?

If you do a harness be sure to make sure it fits good-
They can bsck out of harnesses if spooked -
Years ago , I did use "come with me kitty " harness combo bungee leash for my bengals -
Just know harnesses are not especially proof

Karen I have no doubt would enjoy a garden stroll and meet n greet chickens :)

Head kisses to sweet Karen
She loves you sooo much :)

@Catzzzmeow the lump is still there but Karen has been feeling great since we've been home! She's playing, running around the house and eating 3-4 meals a day. I've had her a little over 2 months and have never seen her play with a toy until last night.

She loved being outside today, she went right up to the chicken coop to say hello. Being deaf makes her much more outgoing I think. She's still not quite sure she likes the grass though.

I'm glad, she, enjoyed, the outside.
I can tell the biggest difference in her since you've
had her.
She looks so much better and healthier.

Sweet Karen seems to be feeling down today. I'm not sure if this is cancer or herpes related. I'm thinking herpes but a secondary infection is the last thing we need right now. Her eyes are weepy, she's snotty and her mouth has a bit of an odor to it, she yawned and I saw her tumor looked a bit yucky.

I'm going to take her in tomorrow for an antibiotic injection to see if that perks her up a bit. She hasn't eaten today and has just been sleeping on my lap for hours.

@Carmen Lucia BIG HUGS to Karen today.
When I first saw you say that her eyes are weepy and she's snotty, I wondered about outdoor allergies until you mentioned what you saw when she yawned. :(

@Carmen Lucia , sending sweet head kisses to Karen - I know she is loving cuddling in your lap -
She knows you love her sooo much - she has more love and care with you than she has known all her life -
You are truly her angel.

One of the things you can ask your vet about is a if a vitamin b12 shot would be beneficial - it helped mine perk up and increased appetite too- Every kitty is different so definitely discuss with your what is best for Karen-
My vet told me not to worry about brands of food just get the smelliest most yummy to get food in their system- especially if they are a bitty stuffed up-
I also asked my vet sbout giving a little unflavored clear pedialyte with a small plunger syringe to the side of the cheek for extra hydration.

Karen knows as we all do, she has the very best of love and care in your arms -
You can wipe her eyes and nose with plain warm water wash cloth a few times a day -
When they are snotty they sometimes can't smell as great and don't eat as much

(Ask vet too if possible seasonal allergies involved too? My vet had me give an over the counter Chlortab for allergies with my Toby)

we truly know how hard it is when health challenges present with our babies -
We do all we can to give them comfort and quality of life of love

(((Hugs)) and head smooches to amazing Karen
Cuddles to sweet Karen from me
