You know we are all cheering and willing her on each and every day. She knows the sweetest spot in the house is your loving lap. Hoping tomorrow she feels a bit more perky.

Glad she's doing better again, but bad cat for stealing chicken lol :)
And obviously she enjoyed going outside. :)

I was just going to write a little update on Karen. I just don't know about this cat, I think she's still got a few years left in her. You would never even know that she had cancer or that it had spread to her lymph nodes! She's feeling better than ever!

I never took her in for an antibiotic injection because she perked up so well and I've even got her weaned down to a lower dose of steroid. The higher dose was making her act so weird, she was wired and I could tell she didn't like it. She would just wander the house turning circles in the kitchen because she didn't know what to do with the buzzed feeling she had. She's now able to relax and nap like a normal lazy cat. She LOVES to go outside and it's become our daily ritual when I get home from work. We just moved our adolescent chickens out to the coop and she loves to go watch them, they don't care for her much but since she's deaf she can't hear them putting up a fuss so she doesn't even flinch.

In the French Bulldog world we often say FLF (Fight Like a Frenchie) because they are so stubborn and refuse to go down without a fight when they are ailing. I think some of that has rubbed off on Karen, she shows no signs of slowing down.

Now that she's feeling better she has decided she hates our Boston Terrier, I honestly can't believe how bold she is about it either. She'll walk by him and swat him right across the face. She's lucky he's all bark and no bite. Only when they are outside together will she tolerate him. She couldn't care less about our French Bulldog or Chihuahua.

So that's what's going on with Karen right now, looks like all our prayers and positive thoughts worked for the time being. Every day, week and month we get with her is a bonus and we'll continue to treat it as such:)

I've started a "bucket list", my friends get a kick out of it and we come up with fun things Karen should experience. I really want to get her a stroller. I've been looking for a used one.

That's great news. Way to go Karen, such an amazing turn around. Hahaha your poor terrier so odd that she's only doing it to the one dog. Funny girl. I'm so glad she's feeling better and you're squeezing in as much happy time as you can for her.

Woohoo! Karen! Karen! Karen! She sure has the FLF spirit in her. Make it a very long bucket list for Karen so she can enjoy a lot of things.
And the poor little Boston Terrier. Maybe they'll get better friends now you walk with them together at a regular base.

@Yoda mom Karen is doing so great!!! It's been a little over a week with her only getting a half dose of prednisone and it seems to be the best amount for her.

The swelling in her lymph node is almost all gone. It seems crazy to say since it was so huge and prominent for so many weeks. I think I'm going to make her a recheck appointment just to see what the Dr's think.

We've started exploring outside without her harness and leash, our yard is fully fenced. She loves the flower beds and of course, the chickens.

We were out of town for the weekend so of course she's stuck to me like Velcro today❤️

Here she is last night, I took her to the groomer for a bath and she wasn't too happy with me.

I've also switched her to a raw diet, she loves it and is so much less bloated than she was on kibble.

The better she does the more I think I'm going to take her to a specialist to see what our options are. I thought I had a matter of weeks with her, I've had her almost 4 months now!
