Update on Max

Max broke his leg back in February after falling from the window sill and getting his leg trapped, yesterday Max had X-rays and an operation to remove all the metal pins, so his leg has finally healed. He has two incisions in his leg from the op so they have been stitched and covered and is on antibiotics for ten days. He has an appointment tomorrow to check on how he's doing and in a week for removal of stitches

It has taken a while he had X-rays a few months ago but they showed that the bone hadn't fully knitted back together so it was felt he needed more time before everything was removed

Aww, I had always felt back for little Max. I am glad he is healing and got the pins removed! He looks like he had a rough day!

Glad to hear he is on the mend and one step closer to being healed. Our heeler pup broke her leg several years ago and it was quite a journey to her recovery. Our thoughts are with you and Max.

He has finally been discharged, 7 months of treatment he's as good as new!!!!
