Upload help if possible; Photos and iPad 2

So, I've played with this for a bit now and have not figured it out. If i take a picture. On my iPhone or ipad2, does any one know how I can upload it to the lair directly insted of saving on a desktop/laptop first? My iPad is relatively new and so my aps ares pretty thin. I can take and save pictues but I don"t know how to get them to appear here as a file name, without appearing in HTML format.

Any suggestions?

Hi Sphynxkid they do make an app tapatalk for our forum and it's free for forum owners, I think the phone owner must buy the app, it's a one time fee of 2.99 and can be bought at the iphone app store, do you think its worth us installing it and is that a fair price to pay for an app, i am not an iphone guru at all. LoL

It might be worth it, but you can see how many others use that sort of technology. I looked it up and it seemed worth $3. Especially if you could publish pictures and videos right from your device. Right now, you have to send them to your PC to either save them, or upload them to youtube. Which, really isn't that big of a deal, just wondered if there was an easier way to do it!

Hi Sphynxkid, can you please try to post a thread or picture from your iphone and you Ipad? I would appreciate it to see if the app worked when you get a chance. Well I'm not sure if you got the app, I installed the program, I'm wondering if it works.

So other than quoting you, I haven't played with it enough to figure how to post, haha. But other than that, as an app to carry on my phone it's great! And once I figure out on the little things it will be great!! It let me take this horrible picture of Moses right now and post it at least!

Anyway I am unable to view my PM "In Box" I keep getting an error message. I am unable to find any tech support on the app itself, so I went to www.tapalk.com and trying to get help there is even more confusing.

Any suggestions?

Can you get access to a regular computer and log in there to access your user control panel? i have heard of this problem on another forum with Tapatalk and the members inbox was full, not allowing her access.

Here is a copy of the error message: "Unknown Error. It appears the server has some issue wit Tapatalk or your session is expired. If this problem persists please re-enter this forum from the Account Tab."

I have tried re-entering several times as well as deleting my profile in Tapatalk and restarting. I checked for updates with no luck. I also went to the Tapatalk support forum (which was super confusing) on the www but did not know what version of vBulletin Sphynx Lair uses.

Could you send me a PM so I can test it? I've always had trouble viewing PMs on my desktop/laptop but that is due to my popup blocker and have to go 3-4 steps around it to get to the message. But I will check on the tapatalk app too.

Mine came through and I replied on my tapatalk without difficulty. It was actually easier than getting a PM here on my PC! I did get an error message but thta twas only because I replied to you and Deb within 60 seconds of each other and I wasnt allowed to do that and had to wait.

Aha! Turning off the Pop-up Blocker in Safari did the trick--I can now view my PM In Box in Tapatalk...YaY!

I've been using it for my iPhone and just got my iPad today. I've yet to have a problem with it. I love using the app bc I can upload photos so much easier!!
