Using a spoiler

In an unrelated forum they use "spoilers" so you have to click a "show spoiler" button to see the reply to a thread or post.

I was thinking this would come in handy in the new "what color is my sphynx" threads. I like to try to guess but wish some of the responses would be hidden so you have click the spoiler to see.

I don't have many more resources about how these work, but maybe someone does?

I added, im confused how to use it. Is there a specific custom title for the button? do you have an example?

did you add it as a bbcode?
if so it should be something like

[spoiler]text[/spoiler]

or [spoiler="text"(+])

On my other board (non cat related), they said to do it like this:

Spoiler

type your answer

But i can't seem to get it to work here.
When I do it this way on the other board, it works.

seems to work well for me

i just used the spoiler button in "post reply" menu on the right

it looks like this

Spoiler: title here

text here [closing tag here]

closing tag is /spoiler between the two square dashes as Haji the Sphynx posted
