Hi all!
I got my first Sphynx at the beginning of May, I tried to do tons of research, but I’m falling short on finding a vet that is familiar with them. We’ve seen 4 different vets now (including one online) and still have not found one that is educated on Sphynx. When I asked questions I didn’t get any good straight answers, or I got “I’m not super familiar with the breed”.
I’m trying to do my best to learn everything I can so that I can do as much as I can at home for her, but I know I will need a vet for prescriptions and things still.
I’m located in Mid-MI, in the middle of Battle Creek, Charlotte, Hastings area. I’m hoping to find someone in Lansing, Kalamazoo, etc under an hour away. I’m sure there’s some good vets in GR, but it’s over an hour from me and I struggle making the trip with work. If that’s the only area with great vets for our hairless babies then I will find a way to make it work.
