Sung to the tune of
"Walking In Memphis"
(LOL)

Put on my purple felt shoes and
I clipped on the line
Went out in the land of the horse's fields
In the middle of the blazing sun

Then I'm walking with Pixie
I was walking with my feet stepping over dirt
Walking with Pixie
But do I really lead the way we go?

I saw the shadow of Fatty coming from his pen
Followed it up to the gates of electric
Then I watched him coming close

Now, Pixie did not see him
She just hovered round his field
But she's a pretty little kitty
Being sniffed by the Fatty
And she's off to the barn beyond

When I was walking with Pixie
I was walking with my feet stepping over dirt
Walking with Pixie
But do I really lead the way we go?

Now, they've got grass on the meadows
They've got dirt in them thar fields
And Irina, be glad to see you
When you haven't got any fur
But boy did she get lip from Pixie

Walking with Pixie
I was walking with my feet stepping over dirt
Walking with Pixie
But do I really lead the way we go?

@Silke Pixie is a brave sole (with the horse). LOL I was almost afraid Pixie was going to get nipped. Does she also think she's part chicken 'cause she loved her dirt bath at the end? LOL

She has dirt baths at every available spot. Keeping her clean is impossible lol
I cleaned her up with coconut oil and wetwipes the other day. It took all of 3 seconds for her to flop into the dirt and "fix" the problem lol. (Literally. She jumped off, ran under the table in the garden, and threw herself in the dirt before I even got out of the chair.) And it's always one of those excited "Oooooh this is so NICE." meows. She then wants me to come and rub her belly while she's doing it lol.
I guess it's scratching an itch.
Yesterday she was in absolute heaven. She was out from 8:30am to 18:30pm. Not a peep from her almost all day. (She starts the day basking in the sun in front of the fridge in the kitchen, then gradually moves outside with the sun.) While it's mild sun she'll stay in it, if it blazes she goes to sit under the table outside and "bakes" there, venturing out for 5-10 mins to chase butterflies or dragonflies, then goes back under the table.
Bliss, apparently.
