Want to scream and cry.

Today i got a call from my breeder, My kitten died this morning
I am in shock,upset,angry, devastated - To happen once ..but to happen for the 2nd time i was speechless just a mixed of emotion and tears.

The breeder was also crying on the phone to me so was also very difficult to hold my tears in.
The poor woman came home from work and found him she is also confused - she recently spent 180 euro on blood tests ect and all for it to be clear and sent home healthy to be found dead few days later it's very sad
She offered me a pick of another litter that her brother has, or a refund of my deposit. I dont know what to do yet. It's like something is not wanting me to get a 3rd - but on the other hand it makes me more determined ..but then i think argh i cant go through another kitten dying

I am so sorry this happen specially so soon after the other one... its not easy I know they crawl so deep into ones heart so very quickly but don't give up.. at least look at the other litter... Anna, I am so very sorry for you loss. Sphynx kits are so very fragile. So many things can and do happen and it is devastating for everyone involved. At least look at the other litter.....and maybe one of them will steal your heart away and help to fill up the empty spaces left behind by losing your other babies.
RIP Smallfry--you were loved, and that is everything.

Oh honey I'm so sorry! [[[[[[[[[hugs]]]]]]]]]]
As Susi stated, Sphynx kitts are VERY fragile. The litter I'm getting my little boy from started as 5 and is down to 4 because of their fragility!!
I'm sorry for your loss but I know in my heart Gunny and Smallfry wouldn't want you to avoid getting a third because their time on the Earth was so short!!! They'll both be awaiting you on the Rainbow Bridge and you loved them, which is really everything!!!!

Yes they are fragile but i was just so shocked at loosing 2..i understand Gunny he had a heart problem - but for "Small fry" everything was healthy and drop dead the next day - it's just so sad.
The poor breeder is also in shock but she will send me pictures when she has time of the other litter.
Again i'm thankful i have my 2 fuzzy girls to cheer me up and snuggle.
I am off for some retail therapy tomorrow..i need it

Oh Anna, I am soooo sorry. I really hoped that you were going to be venting about something else when I saw your post.

I hope your breeder can find out what happened to him to lay your fears to rest about trying again. Take your time in deciding what you want to do. Maybe this next litter isnt the right time for you. Just take the time you need to greive and when the time is right you will know.

This is such sad news. I'm really really sorry that you are having such a hard time. I hate to read news that a cat/kitten has died. I really hope that there is another baby in store for you. Hugs from us all and sending prayers your way.

Oh my gosh, Anna, I am so sorry. I understand the pain of losing a baby you have set your heart on and I imagine that two in a row is exponentially painful.

Go with your gut on deciding whether to go with another little one or to hold off. Bringing home a new little one might help ease the pain of these losses more quickly and it would seem that the odds for a healthy kitten are certainly in your favor now. But, at the same time, if you need time to let Gunny and Small Fry go so there is room in your heart for a new boy, then take all the time you need.

I wish you lived closer because I'd be an accomplice to your retail therapy ;-)

I am sorry for you too. Sorry this happened to the little babies also.
Try to look at the positive side. I know you were looking forward to getting
them and already loved them, but, if you had gotten them, had them just a little while
you would have loved them so much more and would have been, more heart broken.
If it was meant to be this way for them.
I am glad it happened before you got them. You would have had to go through so much more.
Just go with the time that is right for you and the next baby that steals your heart.

Oh, my! I am so sorry for your loss! I know it must be hard so soon after the loss of Gunny. It is scary to decide on another baby after suffering a loss, so I know it's got to be even more so now. I hope you'll take the chance when the time is right for you. ::HUGS::
