Thanks everyone! So far he has eaten 3 times since coming home. Right now he's in my sweater purring, kneading and mock nursing (rubbing his nose against my neck). I have to add a treat or two to the kibble, but he certainly eats quite a bit when I do, so I'll take it. He seems to have absolutely no interest in wet food, which is strange, but what can you do?

I'm just happy to have him home, happy and on the road to recovery. Thank you every one for your support. I truly believe in the power of pawsitive thinking!

I can just see him you smiling ear to ear !

Fwiw, I have 3 kitties with zero interest in wet food
I swear I tried like you from top to low end ... Nope not having it --
I keep a couple of water dishes away from food , seem to drink more that way ,
I change the water 3 times a day
They actually wait for me to refill change from refrigerator water dispenser

A lair full of positive thoughts comtinue always!

We keep a big dish as the cats, for what ever strange reason, refuse to drink out of it if the dog hasn't. It's odd. Also we have a pitcher of nice cold water in the fridge and when we refill the water bowl, Lili runs over and stares at the bowl and the water flowing in all suspicious like, thinking we are trying to poison her. :ROFLMAO:

You can try FortaFlora sprinkled on wet food to try to get him to eat. I swear mine would eat sawdust with FortaFlora sprinkles.

We've made it through the night. I heard him get up several times to eat and drink last night and when I got up at 6am to give him his pill, his food dish was empty. He took his pill like a champ and we went back to bed while it kicked in. Once we got up for the day, I was able to get him to eat out of the communal food bowl by mixing in 4 treats. He ate one treat, then a bunch of kibble.

He's currently running around, both exploring and trying to escape Lilith who is very very interested in him today. Perhaps after her bath, she'll leave him alone.
