Hello Friends,

My boyfriend noticed that our 5 month old Dwelf has a ring in his front leg. I think it looks like ring worm, but I've never seen it on cats before. We don't live on or near a farm. It's about the size of a kidney bean or a little smaller.

Is there anyone who knows what this is and how to treat it?

Thanks, I appreciate everyone's input.

I would be taking them straight to the vet and checking if it is ringworm to get on top of that it is highly contagious. Let us know how you go.

Agree it looks like classic ringworm. Your vet should be able to diagnose and treat. Confine your baby until your appointment just to be safe. Ringworm is a fungus and if the spores come off (simply rubbing on things) it can become an issue because spores can live up to 6 months. Clean hands and surfaces with antibacterial cleaner they frequent often. Keep us updated.

Hello Yoda Mom,

I checked with the vet and they told me to wait a few days to see how it looked and if it didnt improve to call back and make an appointment. It started to clear up within one or two days from posting on here. Still not sure what it was.
