Agree with all :)

will add lol
I have never scooped kitty boxes as often ,learned what poo patrol is , said "leave" it so often , had more things knocked over , broken stolen , hidden , leaped on from above then to have my hair loved on and pulled on affectionately , night monkey zoomies before bed running across our bodies then leaving us a whole foot of the bed to share while they "try "to hog the rest ,bought more "stuff" and spa day things for, vet trips , etc

and never had the bestest cuddles , purrs , (and nose nips ) from the hottest water bottles on my lap :)

Ah Sphynx life :)

@Yoda mom oh yesssss, "poop patrol"! Good ole poop patrol! Grrr!!!

I have to agree with a lot of things you just mentioned above, but they leave my hair alone. All my furry cats loved my wet (just shampooed hair though).

Simon is famous for night zoomies, mostly around the full moon each month and he seems to do it mostly just as I'm dozing off! Then he gets a few of his siblings involved.

For the most part, I haven't had many things broken, but they surely do odd things like hang from the dining room chandelier (Simon when he was young)!

But I will admit that I have NEVER had to rearrange my home to accommodate a cat before. When I had furry cats my entire life, I can only think of one particular time I had to move an arrangement of dried and silk flowers. Other than that, my space was respected for the most part. Not with a sphynx! We have to live in their domain! Everything is their business...everything belongs to them. :)

I was just telling hubby about bed hogging! I sleep on a king size bed with the babies. Hubby chose to sleep in the other room. LOL I have less than half of a king size bed and they still lay on me, next to me, etc., you name it! Sometimes my legs hurt or I'm hot and I need to stretch out or I'm just restless and no matter how many times I move them to their blanket or sacks, they come right back on me, next to me, etc. I just told hubby yesterday that even if I had two king size beds put together, I still would not have enough room to be comfy every night. LOL

@GoldHazel @Yoda mom I agree! We have to rearrange ourselves to suit our sphynx babies and I agree, night time zoomies are a unique sphynx trait. I work nights, so usually have a peaceful day to sleep, but when I'm on days off and sleep at night time, Rosie loves to start running around at about 3am, usually jumping on my shelves and standing on top, she kicks the DVDs off one by one! She's knows it's naughty, you can tell by that "look" but she tries to do it anyway. Little monkey!

I also have a bed hogger. She's so tiny, but still, I'm always finding myself wedged at the edge of the bed or legs every which way around little Rosie in an effort to get comfortable!

Happily on my way home from work on the tram now and can't wait for my loving greeting when I walk in the door and then curling up with her tucked under the covers next to me

I just remembered that a few weeks ago, I woke up one a.m. to find myself on the kitty's side of the bed underneath their faux fur blanket throw and sacks! LOL They "pushed" me completely over as they totally hogged my side of the bed. LOL

@Suki I am exactly the same way now that I have sphynx cats! I always looked forward to vacations before I got my first sphynx cat. I always had pets though...furry cats and dogs.

@Suki in my research about the breed long before I got my first one, I kept reading web site after web site about their personalities being a combination of: 1) part cat 2) part dog 3) part monkey 4) part human toddler child!

It wasn't until I finally got my first sphynx...and within a week or two, I turned towards my husband one day and said, "Wow, that description of them personalities are to a "T"...so true!

I want to be with my sphynx cats 23 hours a day...ok, maybe more like 23 hours and 59 minutes a day! LOL

Agreed with @GoldHazel every minute of the day I'd be happy spending with Rosie. One of these days I'll take a holiday, but thankfully I know an amazing cattery that I've taken my fur babies to in the past, or I'd never even consider going away without her.

The absolute affection. The monkey climbing skills. The adorable peeping instead of meowing. I miss them when at work and can't wait for first cuddles. Oh and the bottomless pit stomach!

Oh meant to say, they feel your soul, they are so connected to you, it's a bond so much more than what I have with my furries, who I love dearly, but the Sphynx is just so different and special and deep. I hate leaving her any time. When I'm at work I'm thinking about her. Crazy cat lady made!

@MaoSphynx my neighbour once asked if there were elephants running up and down my stairs. My crew loves to run the stairs and it indeed sounds like a couple of elephants:)

While their scampering and tearing around a house, bouncing off furniture etc. is quite noisy, nothing compares to when they climb the interior of closet and decide to help you reorganize by bringing everything crashing down.

The other night Hubby forgot to close his closet door and at 3 AM... CRASH BANG BOOM... Max was sleeping between us so it had to be Min.

So much truth in all the answers posted here! *SIGH* I can't even explain how much I LOVE our little "full moon". This breed is incredibly loving, affectionate, intuitive, and highly intelligent. As an animal lover who has had different kinds of pets growing up, the Sphynx is truly something special. I'm sure many of you will know what I'm talking about, but the sense of connectivity I have with our little guy is just ... magical.:love::love:
